It was a cloudy cold morning. The heavy downpour had cooled the entire atmosphere. The cold wind rushed into Tes' room making her shiver. She opened her eyes and yawned tiredly.
She rubbed her eyes and yawned again. Tes noticed the opened windows and stared in amazement.
"Who opened my windows, I thought I closed them, I did so who opened them?"

"What a weird house!" She finally exclaimed outloud.
She stood up and walked towards the windows. She poked her head outside and inhaled the cold air. The atmosphere was serene. The regular dew covered the road and Tes could hear the birds chirping whilst the trees danced along to the rhythm of the ever blowing cold breeze.
Tes inhaled the cold oxygen again and smiled. She looked far ahead into the woods which was across Fall Manor.
"So quiet and scary, damn!
Day two in this house and I've gotten nothing!!"  Tes thought to herself.
The cold wind rushed into Tes' room again making her shiver once more. She rubbed her hands together to feel warm.
She didn't want to close the windows, she enjoyed the cold.
Everywhere suddenly seem quiet as the birds stopped chirping.
"Tes"

"Yes?" Tes answered whilst turning her head back thinking it's Mabel but saw no one in the room.

"I could have sworn I heard my name, or have I started hearing things?" Tes asked outloud. Her facial expression turned moody. She was deeply tired of all the weird things going on in the house.

Tes exhaled deeply and closed the windows. She walked towards the wardrobe. She opened the gigantic wardrobe and searched for an outfit that will suite the day's weather.

"Wow Mabel has so many gowns!"
Tes finally picked a sky blue short gown at knee length. It had floral designs on it.

She dropped it on the bed and made her way to the bathroom.

45 minutes later, Tes was already on the sky blue floral gown. It fitted her so well. She admired herself in the mirror.
She tied her hair to a bun whilst letting a few strands fall out.
"If James could see me now, I bet he would be drooling" Tes said out loud whilst smiling.

  "Tes"
She heard her name again.
Tes hissed and looked around, she knew it was that same strange voice.
"Who are you? What do you want? Can't you just let me be? I just came here for my brother!"

Tes looked around waiting for a reply but instead all she got was a sudden windy room just like yesterday.

"I can help you, I promise to help you, but I need you to help me.
Mabel is definitely hiding something from you, if you want to leave this house alive, you need to trust me"

Tes looked around frantically"ok fine let's assume you are right, what do you want me to do for you huh?, Kill Mabel, kill a ghost?"
Tes hissed loudly with folded arms. At this point, she was fuming with anger.

"That door, she doesn't want you to go near it because she is keeping a dark secret in there"

"What rubbish secret?!"

"Secret involving your brother"the voice replied.
"He died in this house" the voice added.

Tes gasped and dropped her hands.

"What did you...you..you..say?" Tes stammered with a shaking voice. She waited for a reply but got nothing.

"Hello?"

"Hello!!!?"

Tes walked about waiting for a reply but got nothing.

"Goodmorning" Mabel suddenly entered the room giving Tes a fright.

"Why do you always look scared whenever I enter the room?" Mabel asked a distraught Tes.

"No reason Mabel" Tes replied whilst shaking her head.

Mabel looked at her curiously and smiled, she knew something was wrong but she didn't want to push Tes.
"She's always scared whenever I enter the room, what's going on with Tes?"

"Let's go downstairs honey, I don't like when you are all alone in this room" Mabel said whilst looking into Tes' eyes, searching for an answer. She could see from her eyes, something was definitely wrong and it wasn't just the death of her brother that was making her sad.

Mabel turned to leave but Tes suddenly grabbed her hand,"What's behind that door, the one always banging?"

Mabel was taken aback by Tes sudden question.
"Why is she suddenly asking about the door"

There was an awkward silence between both of them as each person stared into the other person's eye, searching for answers and the truth.

"Why is Mabel quiet, why is she finding it difficult to answer me?"

Mabel then smiled and held Tes' hands reassuringly"that room is a private room, it doesn't concern you ok"

"What do you mean it doesn't concern me? I have just two days in this house, I'm going crazy here, I want to know the truth and leave. Can't you see it?! Strange things are happening to me!"

Mabel looked at Tes, she knew it! Something was definitely wrong with her and it wasn't just because her brother died.

"Strange things like what?" Mabel asked.

Tes looked at Mabel, she shrugged and looked away"Never mind that, just tell me what's behind that door, tell me what you are hiding from me please, i need to know"

"I'm not hiding anything!"Mabel replied sternly.

The atmosphere suddenly became tense.

Tes nodded her head and stared at Mabel angrily"fine, ok, fine, do as you please, but I must get to the root of all these".

Tes walked towards the door but Mabel called her which made her stop in her tracks.
"Tes, all I can say is, that door is better off closed"

Tes looked back at her and turned to the pull the door handle, then Mabel added"If you open that door, you will regret it, I promise you Tes".

"Is Mabel threatening me?! What the fuck!"

Tes then pushed the door open and stormed outside angrily.
