The Haunting of Fall Manor(Completed)

Chapter 15

   Tes woke up to find herself in the passenger seat of James' car.
  She slowly opens her eyes and meets the gaze of James who was fastening her seat beat. He sees her opened eyes and relief washes over his face.

  "I'm so glad you are awake. Goodness!"James exclaims happily as he kissed her lightly on the lips and enters the driver seat of his car.

The rain was still falling, though now it seemed it reduced but the downpour was still heavy.
  Tes removed the seat belt and sat up straight, she turned her head and saw they were right outside the Manor.
Huge and scary!

  James ignited the car engine which caught Tes unaware as he started driving away from the Manor!

  "Wait what are you doing?! Stop the car James!"Tes exclaimed.

   "Do you really expect me to let you go back to that house?"James replied as he kept on driving.

   "What you need now is the doctor's attention not some goddamn freaky house"James added.

   "James I need to go back there! Everything is real! The spirits! The Manors! They are real! I stayed with them!"

   James let out a laugh as he kept on driving. He didn't believe Tes, all he had in mind was to get her to the hospital. He had this feeling that Tes was in danger ever since he let her go to Fall Manor.
He decided to check up on her today and his suspicion was confirmed!
He found her lying outside the Manor unconscious, under the heavy downpour, exposed to the harsh weather.
His heart sank as he saw Tes in that condition, all he wanted was to get her far away from that house.

"Baby look at you, the door was shut against you, you were lying unconscious under the heavy rain. I ain't letting you go back in there, you need the doctor's attention"

Tes sighed heavily. She knew James was just looking out for her,but she had to go back into that house!

  "I know. James is a long story, but please turn the car. I need to help the Manors"

   James immediately pulled over and looked at Tes with a shocked expression.
"I am trying to help her and all she is thinking of is some made up shits"

  "I'm afraid you imagined all that up baby. Ever since you left for Fall Manor I had a bad feeling you were in danger Tes"

      He turned and stared at her, James really cared for Tes, she could see it in his eyes.
   "Look Tes, you said you lived in that house right? But just look at your state!, it doesn't look like you even entered that house"James concluded as he ignited the car engine once more.

   "James I did! I stayed with the Manors, why won't you believe me?"Tes cried out.

  Tes seemed tough on the outside but she was very emotional. Whenever she felt misunderstood, she usually broke down in tears.

   "Baby please I care about you, how do you expect me to believe you. Those spirits must be really wicked then for them to throw you out and leave you under the rain to die"

"I can't let you go back there, not to that house or to the so-called spirits cupcake" James added.

  Tes buried her face in her hands as she sobbed quietly.
  "I didn't make all those up. I know I didn't. It was real. It has to be real"

"Or could it be that James is right?"

"Were those events just fantasies in my head? Did I dream of all those events? Was the Manor door ever open to me?"

"James saw me outside and I'm putting on the same clothes I wore when I came to the manor"

  These were the thoughts that ran through Tes' mind.
  She brought her face up and scrutinised her appearance.
