An Unlikely Partnership~Tododeku

3~ A Strip of Paper

"So, Bakugou. Where would you like us to start?"

Bakugou motioned something with his head and created a long rectangular shape with his fingers. Aizawa nodded and reached over to All Might who handed him something. 

"When Bakugou informed us about this situation, we were quite shocked. We haven't had a big problem like this in quite a while. So, we went to investigate every single dig site. Each hole seemed to be the same size. Then there appeared a bigger hole one day and we went to investigate further. Another strip of paper was there, probably due to the carelessness. But this time, only half of it was there, the other half seemingly destroyed."

"What does the strip of paper say, kero?" Asui piped up and and whole room nodded with her question.

All Might scratched his neck. "I think it's better if you all read it yourself." He proceeded to put it under the lens and projected it onto the screen.

There were collective gasps from all around the room as they read what was visible on the half slip of paper.

Beneath the ground-

The ink was smudged and blotched. It looked like it had been through a large body of water for a long amount of time.

"What's that supposed to mean...?" Midoriya scratched the back of his neck slowly. He could now see why they were digging now.

Todoroki walked closer and carefully took the slip of paper from under the projector. 

There was a tense silence as he held the slip of paper between his finger and his thumb. 

"I think I know who can help us find the rest of the riddle..."

All heads snapped up and instantly all eyes were on him.

"I just need to make a call first." Todoroki tapped the device in his ear and started talking in a hushed tone. 

No more than ten minutes later, a young lady jumped into the room. "Hi everyone! Hello boss! Did you need something?"

She was quirky. Her gold eyes stood out the most, contrasting with her black flowy hair. Her hero suit looked like something of the future, a black jumpsuit with neon glowing lines- one of Hatsume's newest costume designs.

"Everyone, this is my deputy at Shouto Agency. Her hero name is Projectory. Her quirk is Relevation. She can project the items of missing things. In this case, we can use her to project the other half of the riddle."

Everyone in the room nodded as Projectory walked to the slip of paper. Her left eye turned blue and a mask-like thing materialised over her face.

A hologram light shot from her left eye and the paper levitated into the air before a hologram appeared, fixing the paper. 

"Someone! Quick! Write it down! She can't hold it for long!"

Kirishima quickly ran to the table and wrote it down. 

Projectory then released the hologram and the paper floated back down.
