An Unlikely Partnership~Tododeku

9~ Rise and Shine... HEROES~!

Midoriya sat up and opened his eyes. Sunlight was pouring through the blinds. He rubbed at his eyes which were threatening to shut again. 

It was eight in the morning and he could hear chatter from downstairs. The smell of Katsudon, Soba and other delicious foods drifted under the door and up his nose when he inhaled. 

He jumped out of bed. KATSUDON! He hadn't had Katsudon in a while, and he could kiss whoever made it. Like quite literally.

A/n: I LOVE Soba and Katsudon so I had to include them in here ok continue!

After a while of frantic struggling to quickly put on a shirt and a pair of pants, he unlocked the door and skidded downstairs. That's when he realised he didn't know where to go. 

"Oi! Deku!" Midoriya turned. Bakugou was walking across the room towards him. "Come on!" Midoriya ran to catch up with Bakugou.

"D.A.R.S give permission to Midoriya Izuku, Pro Hero Deku, access to suite B-35.78. Recognition standard 5. Recognition F, Recognition F2, Recognition E, Recognition V and Recognition H activation please." Bakugou clapped his hands. 

"Of course, sir. Right away. Scanning Midoriya Izuku. Access granted."

Another set of doors slid open and they entered, leaving Midoriya confused and slightly bewildered. Noticing Midoriya's confused expression, Bakugou explained that the tech here was made by one of their heroes. He was a speciallist in making high tech gadgets. His quirk, engineer, made him extrememly useful, and even more so, he came from I-Island.

The kitchen was big and airy, with several glossy white cabinets, a black tiles floor and a modern electric stove. Ashido was jumping around happily and Uraraka and Asui were laughing their heads off. Shinsou was helping Kaminari reach a box of cereal by carrying his on his shoulders. The Big Three were in the dining room behind the kitchen, munching on food. Whoever stood at the stove was obscured from his sight as they were bent down.

Midoriya shuffled over to the bar tables and hopped up onto one, sitting in a high spot. Everyone looked at him. The person who was cooking at the stove stood up and looked his way and his eyes widened.

"Morning everyone!" He called out.

"Morning Midoriya!" "Good morning Deku-Kun!" "Good Morning!" Rang out through the room. 

Todoroki had stopped his cooking to look over at him. Midoriya felt a wave of embarassment when he suddenly thought about his train of thought back in his room. 

Pushing it down, he hopped off the counter and went to say good morning to Kirishima, Jirou and Yaoyorozu. They were joking about who was the most annoying. 

After a while of throwing comments at each other, Todoroki called out to them. "Guys! Breakfast is ready! I'll put the Katsudon on the right counter, Soba on the left, bread and cereal etc. on the back counter! Help yourself!"

The hungry heroes cheered and helped themselves. Midoriya hung back a little bit before getting his share and walked up to Todoroki. "Thank you Todoroki-kun!"

Todoroki blushed slightly. Midoriya cringed inwards but kept his promise. He kissed Todoroki on the cheeck, blushed and ran off to join the others, leaving the other confused but on cloud nine.

Breakfast was relatively uneventful and just generally quiet noisy. Kaminari electrocuted his water twice, almost electrocuting Bakugou and Jirou who were sitting opposite to his when he spilled his water. Yaoyorozu had created her girlfriend, Jirou, a hairpin with musical notes on which the purpl haired girl recieved happily. 

Ashido accidentally melted one of the table legs which Yaoyorozu hastily fixed. Midoriya sat there thinking about what he had done, embarrassed and unable to look at Todoroki.

"Huh? Oh hey Ojiro!" Midoriya picked up his mobile. "How did patrol go?"

The room went silent, listening to what Midoriya was saying. 

"Oh that's good. Anything bad?" Another silence. "Can you tell them I'm busy? Also tell them not to worry and nothing bad's happening. I don't want it to happen. Yeah I see what you mean." 

The heroes looked at each other. "I'll try be there. I don't know..." A beat. "When?" 

Midoriya glanced over at Bakugou and mouthed, 'Code 45.667'. Bakugou nodded back. 

"Alright I'll be there. Do not leak anything ok?" Ojiro made a sound of agreement. "Ok."

Midoriya hung up and Bakugou nodded again. "D.A.R.S open window 34.4b of suite B-35.78."

A window in the dining room opened and Midoriya jumped through it, One For All coursing through his veins. He jumped up to his room and ordered D.A.R.S to open his window and send him his hero suit. 

Then he was out the window again towards the centre of Kamino, where the reporters and interviewers were.

"Look! It's the number one hero! Deku!" One interviewer yelled into her microphone. 

Another yelled, "WE NEED YOU TO ANSWER A FEW QUESTIONS!" 

Bakugou turned on the TV and flipped to Midoriya's interview. 

Midoriya sat in the chair. "So... What do you want to ask me?"

"What were you doing yesterday? You left your daily patrol to Pro Hero Tailman! Were there any problems?"

"No! Don't worry about it! I was away, visiting my friend! I may regularly visit my friend so, you may not see much of me. She's quite ill." 

"May we know whoo this friend is? Perhaps a girlfriend?"

Midoriya laughed. "No. I don't have a girlfriend and she does not wish to reveal her name."

I'm going to need you to cover for me, Melissa-san. When the time comes. He thought.

"Besides, I already have someone I like."

Todoroki's stomach dropped. What was this feeling? Sadness? "Guys? I'm going to go to the toilet I'll be right back." 

The others in the room nodded and Todoroki walked out and went staight to his room. He flicked the TV on and continued to watch the interview. 

"I have to go now everyone! Remember, rise and shine.. HEROES! Arigatozaimasu! Thank you for having me today! Plus Ultra!" Midoriya jumped off, green electricity sparking around him.

The interviewers cheered as he jumped away, seemingly satisfied with his response.

Todoroki turned the TV off. Rise and Shine... Heroes..  R.A.S.H... 18.1.19.8. 

HERO CODE 181198! It was the hero code of whatever secret information there was, it would probably be leaked. It also meant they needed to bring civillians into the mission, whatever the mission may be. 

Todoroki sprinted down the stairs. "GUYS. CODE 181198. BRING IN THE CIVILLIAN LIST. Order issued from Pro Hero Deku. D.A.R.S launch D.A.M.S."

"D.A.M.S, Dynamight Agency Mission System ready to go ,sir." 

"D.A.M.S. Code 181198 section I as soon as you can please. Bakugou. We need to get her involved. We can't avoid it. Bring in section I-694. I know who this 'she' Midoriya was refering to."
