Life has been going smooth for Ya afiz and hafsa although there have been fights. As for maryam and Abubakar too.
Today is them hafsa's first wedding anniversary. She planned to surprise ya afiz immediately he is back from work and vice versa.
Ya Afiz's POV
When I woke up in the morning I decided not to wake hafsa up and quickly rushed to the bathroom to get ready for work and to branch to bleu café for my anniversary party. I told my assistant to book an anniversary cake with the whole bleu café with some snacks, food and drinks for the family members.
I decided to do as if I forgot today was our wedding anniversary to see hafsa's reaction. After bathing I got ready for work went to kiss sudais forehead and decided not to do it for hafsa because I know she will wake up if I touch her small and I want to see the reaction later not now.
I didn't even leave a note for her that is part of the plan. I know she will definitely be angry and that is what I want to see. I quickly carried my key and went off to the office.
Immediately I entered my workers started greeting me and I just nodded because I cant start answering them one by one. My secretary carried my bag to my office and I thanked her then she left. I called my assistant to come to my office now.
"Good morning sir"my assistant greeted me
"Morning, how was your night?"I asked him
"It was fine Alhamdulillah "he answered
"Masha Allah "I answered
"Sir, I did what you told me to do but they were asking me of which type of cake and which flavor of cake will you want"he said
"I want a three step cake. First step should be vanilla,second should be chocolate and the last one should be red velvet "I told him
"Okay sir let me call them and tell them"he said about to leave the office but remembered something
"Happy anniversary sir"he said with a smile
"Thank you I really appreciate" I said to him and he left.
When I was done with my work I decided to call hafsa and pretend like I forgot today is our wedding anniversary . I called thrice but she didnt answer I know she is provoked of first I didnt wake her up before coming to work and second I didn't call her when I reached third i didnt leave a note for her and ofcourse fourth anniversary wishes. At last she picked at the fifth ring
"Hii baby"i said to her
"Hello"she said like she was forced. I know she is angry because anytime I call her she used to be happy and she even add an endearment at the end
"Baby what happened?"I asked her
"Nothing"she gave a curt reply
"Really but baby you are acting somehow"i said
"I told you nothing "she said rudely
"Okay fine"i said pretending to be angry
"Yea"she said in a Durh tone
"How is sudais?my regards to him" I told her
"He is fine" she said
"Okay bye since you are not in the mood to talk to me " i said feigning angry and curt the call.
I know she will call. She cant be mad at her prince charming, can she?
After like 2minutes she called but I didnt answer. The next call i answered and decided to wait for her to speak first
