Fatima's POV
I woke up late forgetting I have to start my work today. I quickly rushed to the toilet, came out wore my blue long sleeve shirt with a straight black skirt and black veil. When I was done I came downstairs.
"Mama,baba Ina kwana"I greeted mama and baba ignoring Ya Afiz's stare
"Lafiya Alhamdulillah"they answered
"How was your night"my dad asked
"It was great"I said and went to the kitchen to carry some snacks. When I was about to leave the house mama called me
"Aria won't you have your breakfast"asked mama
"Mama I am late for work and it is my first day"I said
"Okay bye Sai kin dawo"said mama waving
"Bye"I waved back
I went to my precious car(I forgot to tell you have a car) which baba gifted me on my birthday. I drive to my office. When I entered no one knows I was the new CEO,I went straight to the receptionist
"Hii"I said
"How may I help you"she said
"I want you to show me the way to the CEO's office"I said
"Ma we don't have a CEO presently"she said
"Yes I know,I am now the new CEO"I said
"Your name please"she asked
"Fatima Bashir Modibbo"I said
"Sorry ma this way"she said
"No problem"I said. She took me to a beautiful office
"Ma here is your office"she said
"Okay thank you"I said
"By the way my name is Aisha"she said
"Thank you Aisha"I said
"Where is the secetary"I asked her
"Let me call her ma"she said
"Okay I will be waiting"I said and sat down on my seat. Not long I heard a knock
"Come in"I said
"You may have a seat"I said
"Sure ma"she said
"My name is Fatima and you"I asked
"Asmau"she said
"So asmau can you tell me about the office"I asked
"Sure"she said
"The company........................."she said
"Okay thank you"I said
"Ma do you want some coffee" she asked
"Yes" I said
"How do you want it to be"she asked
"I want it to be sweet and hot"I said
"Okay na"she said and left.
I started working when I heard a knock
"Yes come in"I said
"Ma here is your coffee"she said
"Thanks"I said
"Is there anything you want"she said
"Not really"I said
"Okay ma"she said and left
When I was done with my work, I packed my things and left
"Mama I am back"I said immediately I entered the parlour
"Welcome"she said
"How was work"she asked
"It was good mama"I said
"Okay go and freshen up I know you must be hungry"she said
"Okay mama"I said and pecked her
I entered the bathroom,bath and came out. I changed into a comfortable cloth and came down. I opened the door and saw Ya Afiz coming out from his room and decided to ignore him.
"Aria"he called but I ignored him
"Aria"the called again
"Aria am I not talking to you"he said
"What?"I answered
"Why are you avoiding me"he asked
"I am not"I said not interested
"You are. If you come to the dinning table you don't talk to me or even look at me"he said
"I just don't feel like talking to you"I said
"I am sorry"he apologized
"It is okay"I said not looking at him
"Look at me"he said and I did
"Have you forgiven me"he asked
"No"I said
"Please"he pleaded
"How do you want me to after you shouted at me,told mama I was the cause of Hafsa to leave the house with goodbye,and lastly you told Hafsa all what you and mama did"I said crying
"I am sorry please"he pleaded again
"Okay I have forgiven you""I said
"But why did you shout at me"I asked
"Because Hafsa is my crush"he whispered to me
"Yayyyy!!!"I squealed
"Don't tell anyone"he said
"Okay I won't"I said
"So when I you going to tell her,I guess you know she has a crush on you"I said
"Yes I heard her say that day"he said
"Okay"I said. He was about to leave when I remembered something
"Ya Afiz"I called
"Yes"the answered
"How did you tell Hafsa all that you did"I asked him
"I have her number"he said
"You what?"I asked
"I said what you heard"he said
"But which day"I asked
"The day she came to our house"he said. I was thinking of when,when he spoke
"The time she left the house"he said
"Ohhhh"I said
"So tell me what happened"I said. He told me what happened and I couldn't help but feel happy. Now Hafsa's dream is fulfilled.
"When are you going to propose her"I asked
"Soon"he said
"Call me so I will help you"I said
"Sure little sister"he said and hugged me
