Kuroo has kept bothering me about what and where to go for our date today. I didn't feel like doing any of the things he suggested, so he let me pick. Honestly I didn't really like going out, I prefer to stay in and play games. Which worked since it was basically my job.
But, I guess I should actually go out and do something. So, I told him I'd be fine with going to a zoo. Besides, there were new exhibits I wouldn't mind seeing. Around 2, I heard the doorbell. When I got the door, Kuroo smiled faintly at me.
"Hey. Ready to go?"
"Almost." I said, turning my back and stepping inside. When I got the last thing I needed, I returned to Kuroo who stared at what was on my back.

"....What?"
"What?"
"..Why-"
"I like to bring him with me." I said, Kuroo sighing and shaking his head.
"Alright, come on."
Kuroo's POV
Once we got to the zoo, I let Kenma lead the way. I walked behind him, but I kept getting distracted.... his stupid cat kept staring at me through the back of that bag..!
I narrowed my eyes at the cat before raising my brow. I swear that cat isn't just a normal cat. Mostly because he looked offended and started meowing and pawing at Kenma's back. Kenma stopped, kneeling down and setting the bag down before picking his cat up out of it.
"Are you okay?" He asked, people kind of staring. I cleared my throat and stood there as Kenma made sure his cat was comfortable before setting him back down into the pack and putting it back on. The cat looked at me, almost smug. I rolled my eyes and kept quiet as I followed Kenma around.
I wasn't exactly surprised when he seemed the most interested in the lions, tigers, and other cats they had at the zoo. He even would pull his bag around front so his cat could see. Kenma was something else.
When we stopped to rest and have lunch, Kenma dropping in a few treats for his cat to eat while he sipped on a smoothie I bought him. I watched him for a bit before tilting my head. Guess if we're soulmates, may as well get to know him while I have the chance.
"So, Kenma. Do you work??"
"Yeah."
"What do you do?"
"I make videos online and livestreams."
"...Really?"
"Yeah." He said before taking another sip. That was his job? Doesn't sound like a job to me. But I guess if he makes money off it, then, it's fine.
"So, when did you get your cat?"
"I got him last year."
"What's his name?"
"Butterscotch."
"Butterscotch?"
"Yeah. I thought of naming him Cinnamon. But I named a previous cat that, so I changed it." Kenma said as he looked down into the little pack. I slowly nodded and just sighed, giving up on much conversation.
The trip actually wasn't super awful, but it wasn't exactly super exciting either. I walked Kenma up to his apartment and stood with him as he unlocked the door. He turned, looking up at me.
"Thanks. I had a nice time."
"I did too. I'll.. talk to you later, yeah?"
"Sure. Get home safe."
"I will, bye Kenma." I said with a wave, turning and heading off. Once I was home, I showered and changed before climbing into bed. I was curious, so I grabbed my laptop and looked up Kenma's name. It was pretty quick to find him. Huh, I guess he was better known than I thought.
I didn't really watch videos online, I mostly stuck to actual television shows and movies. I clicked on a few of Kenma's videos, and they weren't so bad actually. Looks like he actually has a little "office" where he makes the videos. And he livestreams often it seems like. Seems like a lot of people like him... I wonder if he would tell anyone that he's found his soulmate?
Kenma's POV
I let Butterscotch out of the little bag and watched him wander off. I cleaned out the inside before hanging it up and going to my room to change. I laid in my bed, checking all the messages and stuff I would get. There were a lot of people who would send messages and ask for certain games or videos for me to do.
Then there were the people who would try and get me to date them, but I wasn't interested. I'm not too sure how I feel about Kuroo so far. But, I guess today wasn't so bad. Should I tell people I ended up finding my soulmate? No, I don't want to cause any type of drama. That'd just be annoying for me and for him.
I tossed my phone aside and rolled onto my side, Butterscotch jumping up onto the bed and laying with me. I smiled slightly and pet him with a quiet sigh.
"Hey, what do you think of Kuroo?" I asked, Butterscotch rolling around before falling asleep.
"Yeah, me too." I said with a small laugh. Would Kuroo want people to know we were soulmates? He seemed surprised when I told him what I do for a living. But I don't care if he doesn't approve. I enjoy it and I do actually make decent money from it.
Maybe I should do a video with him. If he wants to. I wouldn't mind if he doesn't. Who knows, it could be fun. I never really did videos or streams with anyone else, could be something new and interesting.
