Kenma's POV

Kageyama and Hinata huh?? I kinda remember them being together. But, it was almost like a fuzzy memory as if it were a dream. Oh well. At least Hinata got home safe now that the rain was picking up a bit.

When I walked in, I sighed quietly while getting my coat off. Butterscotch wandered over to me, purring away as the black cat who just showed up and... never left, folowed. Not that I minded. Butterscotch seemed to like the cat and they made good company for each other. I'd usually find them cuddling somewhere.

"What were you two doing?" I asked, getting a meow from them both. After I hung my jacket up, I leaned down and patted both their heads before going back to my room and climbing back into bed. It only took a moment for both cats to come barging into my room and climb on top of me to cuddle.

I still have no idea where this black cat came from, what his name is, or why he won't leave. But I quite like him and I know Butterscotch likes him. And, as long as he has no tags and no one lost him, I'll keep him. Even if someone did lose him, then I'll just keep him safe. But I've asked around and no one has seen him. So I'm assuming he's a stray.

I checked my phone, smiling faintly to see Kuroo had texted me. I talked with him a little bit, nothing too interesting, but I liked talking to him about nothing. While waiting for him to respond, I double checked my messages from Hinata.

Huh, he had told me earlier he and Atsumu were taking a "break". Which, basically he said meant they were open to see other people. I wonder if they'd get back together. Or what was gonna happen to Atsumu??

Next Day: Atsumu's POV

"You alright?"

"Yeah. It wasn't anything super bad or anything." I said with a shrug, my brother smiling slightly. He came over today to see how I was doing after Hinata's and my, basically break up. We had gotten into an argument over something stupid, but, we agreed seeing others could be better for us and to just stay friends.

"You sure you're good?"

"I'm positive. I mean, I'm a bit bummed but I'm alright. Hinata and I agreed it was best anyway."

"Alright, if you're sure. Do you want to go out?"

"Sure, I'm starving." I said, Osamu laughing and heading out with me. We both went to a restaurant and sat down to eat. Osamu was talking for a while about something, something about his job and his own actual soulmate he found. And I was listening. Sort of. Not really, but I tried. Sort of.

"Hey, earth to Atsumu?" He said, waving a napkin in my face to try and grab my attention. I blinked a few times and swatted my hand at the cloth napkin.

"Hey, cut that out..!"

"Are you absolutely sure you're alright?? You're zone out..?"

"Oh! Sorry! No no I'm not zoning out, I was just.." I mumbled, going back to what I was doing. My brother furrowed his brows and turned around, seeing that I was staring at someone sitting at the little bar in the restaurant. Osamu looked back to me and grinned, leaning forward.

"Oh, I see you're looking at the appetizer huh?"

"Osamu..!"

"Oh or is he the main course, huh?"

"Will you shut up...?" I mumbled, looking down at the menu. Osamu placed his fingers on the top of the menu that was covering my face and pushed it down.

"Go talk to him."

"What?"

"Ask our waiter to get him a drink, complimentary of you or something. I can dip for a bit." Osamu said with a hum. I took another glance before sighing heavily.

"Okay. But if I embarrass myself, I'm blaming you."

"You're going to embarrass yourself regardless. Anyway, keep me updated. I'll be, hiding outside. And totally not watching from that window right over there." Osamu said and got up. I watched him walk off as the waiter returned. I wasn't sure how this was gonna go, but, what do I got to lose aside from my pride.

I asked the waiter to tell the guy sitting at the bar that a drink would be on me. The waiter even gave me a bit of a grin before leaving. I already felt the embarrassment coming..

I watched a bit anxiously as the waiter did as I asked. When the waiter did so, the guy turned around and looked at me. I tried to not horribly embarrass myself so soon by looking like an idiot, so I made myself look dumber by just grabbing my phone and scrolling through it.

"Hi." I startled and looked up, the guy looking down at me.

"Hi.."

"May I sit here?" He asked and gestured to the seat across from me. I nodded as he slowly sat down. He leaned away from the table and kept his hands in his lap.

"Thank you for offering to buy me a drink. However, I don't want to take your money." He said, making me smile slightly.

"Oh, it isn't taking my money if I'm the one who offered to buy you a drink!"

"Are you certain?"

"Yeah, of course!"

"Then, may I repay you by joining you? Or are you with someone?"

"Yeah. I mean no. I MEAN- you can join me! Er, I'm Atsumu, by the way." I said, the man smiling slightly.

"Thank you. I'm Sakusa."
