who knows how many days later it was but you were seated at your desk, still thinking about that kiss you shared with daveed.

it was late and you were writing supposed to be writing but you were staring at the violin sitting in the corner.

it hurt to see a line of dust cover almost all of the violin, it wood seemed cold. your violin looked different after you played it, after putting it down and wiping your brow it seemed warm.

you leaned forward and blew to get he dust off, the little particles moved around and some caused you to sneeze. it seemed a little warmer now.

you looked through the bottom drawer of your dest and found some sheet music, you could go a year without playing and pick it right back up after.

the song was soft, it sounded like smooth being rubbed against silk. like freshly shaved legs moving around on new sheets while you get comfy before falling asleep.

you didn't too loud because daveed was most likely sleeping and he'd been stressed with his new class, he was apparently going to talk to them about the lack of participation.

after playing around you sighed and placed it back on the stand, you looked at it for a second before opening your computer.

you didn't get much work done because there was a knock at the door, it seemed urgent.

you opened the door to see daveed standing there with a bottle of wine and a basket, he was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie.

"dav, it's like about to me midnight." you groan and rub your eyes.

"and thats perfect." daveed smiled and took you hand, it had become not natural these days, "i want to take you somewhere."

"i can't leave me house-"

"no one is outside," daveed bounced, "you've been cooped up for a while and if we do this at night, you're at a less risk."

you look back at you house and could feel the comfort pulling you back in, but going outside seemed way more enticing.

"oh, fuck it!" you jumped and followed daveed into the car.

"i was thinking about you- like i always do-" he giggled, "and i heard you music, and i wanted to just surprise you." daveed smiled as he drove down the street.

his hand left the steering wheel and was placed on your leg, you could tell he was waiting for you to say something, but you never did.

he parked the car and quickly went around to open your door, you looked up and saw a hill. daveed grabbed the basket and a blanket and he led you up.

"i ran a new route yesterday, and i found this place and i thought of you." he smiled, you reached the top and he fanned out the blanket.

you sat down and daveed plopped down, his leg was bouncing and he couldn't stop smiling. you leaned over and placed a hand on his leg, it slowly came to a stop.

"s-sorry, i'm just really exited." daveed laughed nervously.

"that could technically be our first date." you smirk, but it falls when he shakes his head.

"nope," daveed looked off into the distance, "i know what our first date will be."

"you've planned it?" you turn and compelled face him.

"have i planned it?" he asked in a mocking tone, "i it planned the day i talked to you, i've had it planned this whole time." he dropped his head, "i know it's cheesy, but i've liked you forever- well, i really knew it when we did that face mask thing and you were basically riding me... but i've liked you this whole time. and our real first date is going to show that."
