your school alarm rung loudly on your nightstand, causing you to jolt up from under the covers and turn off the ear-aching ringing. you sighed and lifted yourself from you bed and trudged towards the uniform you had previously thrown on a stool the previous day.
picking up the screwed up outfit, you peeled off the clothes you wore to sleep in and threw the uniform on. walking into the bathroom, you took a toothbrush into your hand and brushed your teeth, along with washing your face afterwards. you reluctantly styled your hair as best you could and walked out the dorm room and towards your classroom.
you strode in the direction of class in the quiet, empty hallways, somewhat happy at the lack of socialising you were forced to do. you spotted the large, tall door and opened it, entering the class. seeing your assigned seat, you made your way to the back of the class showing no emotion whatsoever you took your spot next to uraraka. she greeted you like she did the previous morning and you acknowledged her as little as you could, after all you weren't here to make friends in anyway.
the class begun once aizawa had stood behind the teachers podium after iida had informed us that he was on his way. "today we are going to be participating in practical hero training," he announced while keeping a monotone voice the whole time. murmurs and whispers spread around the classroom in excitement of the practical training. luckily for you, this was a chance to see how their quirks worked in person, some information that would prove incredibly important.
the students were taken into separate areas, split up by gender, to change clothes in the hero costumes in which they had previously designed over the last couple days. alongside you the girls had been given their outfits and had gotten changed rather quickly out of what you guessed to be excitement. you based your 'hero' costume on what you would use to wear when you went on little missions with the league. this consisted off a short pleated skirt, a large button up cardigan and some tall demonia boots.
once the group of girls, along with the boys, were fully changed they almost erupted from their changing rooms and onto the large arena like area. aizawa was their waiting for you all with a tired expression on his face as usual.
"you are going to be in pairs for sparring," he started while looking around thinking about who was going to be paired with who, "the first person to leave the mat loses." he finished. "now, for your pairs. y/n and-" hearing your name peeked your interest and made you listen inquisitively. "bakugo." you looked over to the boy who was stood beside kirishima, he showed a heavy smirk on his face and looked back at you. aizawa read out the rest of the partners and showed you all the direction of where you were going to be fighting.
the boy in question was waiting stood up straight waiting for you. little did he come to know, you had a lot of experience in this field, after all you grew up with some of the most wanted villains. calmly, you stood on the opposite sit of the mat facing him, waiting for the signal to start. you had a slight idea of what bakugo's quirk was capable of, although you didn't see what the big problem was, fellow classmates of yours looked extremely worried for you.
"you can begin," aizawa's voice echoed through the group of students. as soon as this was comprehended, bakugo was already charging towards you with explosions erupting from his hands. being ready for this you had swung you webs onto a very close building, keeping you still on the mat, working as a kind of stabilizer while you jumped back down. it was easy to tell bakugo was confused by his expression, his target had just been taken right from his very grasp.
you landed back down beside him now knelt down before jumping back into the air before the boy could exactly comprehend what was going on. your webs were wrapped around his body, not tight enough to do any fatal damage, maybe a scratch or two here and there. he yelled with frustration attempting to push you and you webs away from him before he was pushed off the mat and lose the sparring.
with only a small motion with you hands, bakugo was sat huffing and puffing on the floor off of the mad. you walked over to the boy and retracted the webs from around his body and walking slowly towards him while straightening your clothes. he pushed himself up to stand up straight before continuing to yell about even if he lost he's still better than you and so on, because if you were going to be completely honest you drowned out his while in the first two seconds he started to talk.
aizawa gave you a small nod, almost as if to say well done, while the other students continued to congratulate you on beating bakugo. you were confused on why it was such a big deal to hem but you brushed it off and stood back in the crowd before being told to go back to get changed or go to recovery girl if needed. there was nothing wrong with you apart from a cut or bruise here or there so you made your way back to the changing rooms.
once you were back into your uniform all of the girls along with boys who were already dressed, began to make their way back to the dorms. earlier in the day you had given aizawa-sensei a sheet of paper telling him the things you had wanted your room to consist of, trying to make it as similar to home as you could.
