chapter 26 Lexi vs seth

Seth POV

It was quite on my way to the training ground really quite. I could still hear little heartbeat but it was faint. It was close by but faint like there didn't want me to know were there are.

I didn't mind neither did I care that there were scared of me, instead it felt nice that there fear me but i was a little bit sad. If my own people can't accept me for who I am and love me like there own then it would mean that I might be alone all my life.

Speaking of life how Long do I live for
According to my father story the hybrid that there created hundred thousand years ago is still alive.

I wonder what he would be like.......naaa his probably gonna kill me before I can even say hello.

I chuckled to myself which was weird cause I was chuckling to my own death. Did being a vampire bring out a sacarstic side of me.

"What you chuckling about?"

I was thrown out of my thoughts as I looked to see who asked and was surprised that it was Lexi.

"What you doing here, I thought we were supposed to meet on the training ground" I asked

As she looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language until I took In my surroundings and saw I was on the training ground already.

"You good? What type of question is that, did you hit your head hard after what happened here yesterday"  she asked as she took my hands and sat me down on the floor. Still don't know why she prefers floor when there are clearly benches to sit on.

I looked up at her and simply told her
" Naa am good I was lost in my thoughts and if I may ask since last night incident are you sure you should be here there might suspect you too"  since my own father suspect me and everyone else I might add but didn't.

"So there suspect you huh?" She said as I remember she could read mind.

"Actually am not supposed to be here but I know you might need someone to talk to after your rejection and display of bloodlust" she added

"I didn't do it on purpose and I didn't kill the guard, I did think of killing someone but I didn't and the rejection am over it" I said turning my face the other way so that she couldn't see the hurt in my eyes.

She stood up grabbed my left hand and suddenly threw me to her side of the floor as I hit the cold floor with a thud that I was sure If I was still a normal werewolf I would have broken a few bones.

I didn't even have time to think when she suddenly spring at me with her foot to land another attack. I thought I was done for but then I noticed that the attack was slow.

I got up at the speed of light atleast I think that how fast I got up cause before she could react I already pin her down. " What was that for, are you trying to kill me or something" I asked demanding an answer as to why she suddenly thought it was alright to attack me.

"You..you.. your crushing me" she whispered but my sensitive ears heard it as I immediately got up releasing her from my hold. As she just turn over and started gasping for air like she hasn't ever taken in air in her lungs before.

After a few seconds of breathing in and out she got up and just stared at me.

" Am sorry I didn't mean to pin you like that" I said as I slowly made my way to her. She just let out laugh that was both amusing and scary at the same time. "Woah " she said as she took a fighting stance making me to back away slowly.

And then again with such fast speed she attacked me throwing punches that was meant to kill, aiming for my vital points but again it felt like time slowed down she was fast sure but no so fast that I couldn't see her attack and Dodge it while trying to land my attack , as my hands were about to make contact on her face she backed Away almost like she knew what I was going to do.

She is a mind reader, tch this is going to be tough am going have to attack her without thinking which means a straight forward attack with no strategy or plan. "Why are you suddenly attacking me with no warning " I asked as  we started to Walk In circles towards each other.

No response, I was met with a cold stare and a grin on her face as she advanced towards me again.

Preparing to evade her attack she paused Midway and threw wolfsbane at my eye. Now you must be thinking how did I not see the wolfsbane coming with my speed. Well let me tell you, during her time pausing she said something that made me go numb for a second making me incapable of thinking there fore her attack worked which resulted in me being blind temporarily and in pain.

But I had to endure caused she was still attacking as she landed a blow aiming to reach my heart but since I had tough skin it was hard for her to reach. At this point I realized that she was serious and this is what a Battle look like. Which means I have to get serious now.

As I relied on my sense of smell and hearing all this time I have been using my eyes and not my other senses, so I guess it time to put that to use. And it seems Lexi thought the same cause she stopped attacking carelessly. Her movement was silent and her heart beat was faint like really faint I could hardly hear it. Her footsteps came and go like it was the wind passing through me.

Vampires are dead which means the only smell their give off is their blood.

But still it would still be hard to get that smell I need to wound her first.

But I think I should block my metal thought that way she can't read my thoughts.

I picked up her footstep as she approached me again as I blocked her punch and immediately did a counterattack on her which sent her flying but not enough to injure her.

She is strong I decided I have stayed on defense for too long am gonna have to take charge. As I ran to were her heart beat was as I brought out my claws and tried to jab her in the gut, but she quickly evaded it and tried to put distance between us but I didn't let her as I closed up the distance while trying to attack her not giving her a chance to think of a counter and I could tell it was working the way I her heart beat was picking up and increasing. I finally landed an attack on her upper torsoe as I sticked it in and violently pulled her as she let out a pained cry.

I could smell the blood now and the way it was strong I could tell it was alot but I didn't want to stop in fact I wanted to make her bleed more. Just as I was about to land another attack on her heart she yelled.

"I surrender"

I tried to stop but I couldn't stop or more like I didn't want stop.

As I kept approaching her with the intent to kill I opened my eyes and saw just how scared she was .

I halted and at that moment I hated myself for what I have became.
