My mom gave me the address to which her vampire friend is staying,
She stays in New Orleans, of course what do expect. I mean this place should be crawling with vampires every where because all there favorite things is here. Music,art,culture,food you name it.
If I was vampire I will definitely move in here. I snapped out of my thought when I realized am with Danny. I looked at him and he gave me the
"What the hell is wrong with you"
Look. I forgot he could read my mind.
We are mated and that mate bond allows us to feel each other emotions and you can enter your mate mind
But there is a loop hole you put a mental block in your mind making your mate unable to read your mind.
But am weak and tired and all I can think about is saving my son. It is my fault that he suffers every single day and need to make it right and fix what I have done even if it is to meet our worse enemies.
My thoughts were interrupted again by the sound of the car dying down and stopping in front of an old building that is very much small. It looks like a rusted building with cracks in wall and poor lack of fresh water. People living here should have died but something was off about them, there are healthy and happy. If am not mistaken the cold should have killed or make some people sick but no there are all healthy.
"Are you sure this is the right place" I asked Danny
"Yeah according to GPS yeah this it"
"Ooh"
"What do you mean by Ooh"
"Naa nothing just forget it"

I was actually starting to put the pieces together there is Vampire staying here and she is feeding this people her blood, Not bad.
We got inside the building and found her flat. We knocked but nobody open it
It was a light white room with nice paintings and beautiful decor not what I was expecting. I was expecting like a dark room filled with stains of blood what vampires have be made to be dirty when handling there food.
"anyone home" I said
I looked around and no one is there, maybe she is not in. Just as am about to talk with Danny. I see him being held to his throat by a woman who I think is the vampire.
How did she get past me without me knowing.
"hey get your hands of my mate"
I look around and a see a wooden chair, I immediately break it and take one piece daring at her to come at me. She let goes of Danny who is now gasping for air (yeah nice one Danny your an alpha for crying out loud).
"who are you and what do you want little dog"
Woah bitchy much. "look we don't want trouble we just want to talk ok "
"about what" Yessh take it easy vamp am gonna tell you.
" it about my son, my mom sent you a letter"
"oh so your Isabella why didn't you say so In the first place"
" well you didn't give me a chance to explain my self"
"oo am sorry about that I don't get visitors"
"hey am still here" Danny finally spoke
"o am so sorry Danny I forgot you were here for a second " I rushed to Danny To Help him up
" alright What do you guys want to talk about"
Really I just said that like about a minute ago and your asking us now is she really a vampire
" why don't we sit down and talk about it" I said
"OK, let me just get you a cup of coffee or tea seems the male dog will be needing it" talk about rude
"we are not dogs, don't call us that. my name is Isabella and this is my mate Danny. We want to talk to you about my son condition and how we need your help"
" alright go on am all ears" she said as she served us tea.
"well you see my son has been diagnosed with cancer and since he hasn't activated his wolf gene yet he is unable to heal him self" Danny said taking charge of the conversation.
"so you want me to do what exactly " Lexi the vampire asked
" well my mother told me that vampire blood cuts all injuries and aliment that happens to a human body......"
"let me stop you there first of all it true that vampire blood and heal and wound but only physical not sickness like cancer. We can't cure cancer with our blood"
" has it been done before "Danny asked aware of my uneasiness for her saying that my little boy could not get a cure.
"actually no but ..."
"but you haven't tested on a mundane with cancer"
"I mean technically yes but "
"But nothing you don't know if it can work or not so please I ask again please let us be able to save our son he is In too much pain and I can't bear to see him like that" this was times I remembered why I fell in love with him In the first place. He is a kind man at heart but also very strong.
"look even if I give you my blood there is no guarantee that it will work there consequences for doing this " she whispered the last one out like someone was watching us. Wait did she just say consequences
"Consequences" I spoke up having found the strength to move my mouth again
"yeah am not even meant to be interacting with you guys if not for you mom and eye are close friends"
"why" Danny asked
" the vampire society just enacted a law from preventing us to talk or associate with any supernatural other creatures".
"well then could you please give us what we came for and we will be on our way."
"There is so much you still don't know but fine I will give you my blood on one condition"
"What" Danny and I said at the same time
"if your son should survive the venom in my blood you must make me his teacher "
"Why would we do that?"
" that my condition take it or leave it"
After much thinking me and Danny agreed and that was how we got the vampire blood for my son but now his dead and it all my fault.
Am never gonna see him again.
