Seth POV
I have to say I didn't expect that from her well I expected more or so but not this. A fake boyfriend to get her real boyfriend jealous who happens to be the biggest bully in the school and also the son of our best warrior in our pack.
His been in the school since I enrolled but he wasn't the nicest person in school. He thought him self better than anyone else just because he was a good fighter. Because of that girls were always around him and boys were aiming to be like him. I for one didn't like him caused he preyed on the weak. Both human and wolf.
When I started my first week in school it started by him just saying all sort of stuff like me being weak and all even if I had alpha blood and the moon goddess should have given the alpha someone like him. Of course he was waiting for a reaction but I didn't give him any and that what ticks him off, you know the saying silence is the best answer well it true.
The second week was him pushing me around and turning me into a punching bag. Even if I was the alpha son I couldn't do anything against them, There knew about my condition but didn't care one bit. Cyrus would always get his guys to piss me off just so there can see what type of reaction I would give them.
At age 16 Cyrus activated his gene when he killed a human. The story's goes that he was coming back form a party and was really drunk and he hit a person with his car on the way home. Of course the pack helped him cover up the murder saying it was a wild animal that attacked him. Luckily we also pack member in the police force In fact we have pack members everywhere but we live in the same pack house and still obey the alpha.
You did think after what Cyrus did that he did me a little compassionate about life but nope his ego just went up. And by the way we werewolf don't just go killing any human to activate our gene. the government send in criminals that are sentenced to death to our pack and at a certain age in a werewolf you have to kill that person.
I know not too great but it the only way. Now back to ember she wants me to be her fake boyfriend not gonna happen.
"look am sorry OK but I can't take up the role of making Cyrus jealous" I told her trying my best not to look into her eyes.
"Seth please am begging you he really hurt me I need to get back at him" she replied with little sobs like she is about to cry. Geez what ever he did she is hurt.
"and beside it won't be for just a week after then my birthday will be up and I kind find mate in the pack party. "
That is true maybe I should just help her beside she isn't bad looking on the contrary she is pretty and elegant why did Cyrus hurt her.
"OK but just for one week and there will be no touching or kissing or hugging. " I told her hoping this will make her change her mind.
"how do we prove then that you are my boyfriend" she asked clearing her eyes, men she really was about to cry.
"fine just touching maybe we can hold hands and talk but no hugging" I said making my way out of the forest it already late and I have to find way to tell my dad I need to go back to school.
"why not you don't like hugs" she asked bringing me out of my thoughts.
"yeah I don't it a long story so don't ask, look I need to get back home to talk with my dad" I said not wanting to get to close to her cause I can't place my finger on it but something is drawing me close to her. My wolf have been trying to reach me but I just close him off.
"maybe tomorrow i could come to your place so we that we could talk about how we are going to pull it off"
"OK but something been bothering me if you know you are gonna find you mate soon why go through all this trouble " I asked and it like my question got her caused she stopped and stared directly at me like I just caught her doing something she shouldn't.
"umm.... Well.. You see it just that what Cyrus did to me it undermines able and I want to get him back for what he did. " she replied slowly like she was choosing her carefully but little did she know I heard her heart skip when I asked that question.
"and what did he do if I may ask" I asked eyeing her now waiting for her response to know what she is hiding. She is nervous but why exactly, is she scared of me.
"I don't want to talk about it maybe later. " after Does word she walked passed me and shifted into a large brown wolf not as large as an alpha but she is the daughter of a beta so her wolf be larger than normal wolfs.
She sprinted into the out of the forest and into the pack roads. "Well that was weird and why have you been blocking me you dad has been trying to reach us"
"sorry"
I opened my link to my dad and that when he spoke to me "Seth you need to be home now it late already and your mom is going to bite my head off"
"am almost hope and it not that late just a few hours "
"just be home in time for dinner"
"yeah I got you " I closed the link shutting him off just because his training me doesn't mean we are now best of friends and i have forgiven him.
"you know sooner or later you will have to forgive him right"
"I know but it not today"
I got home and meet nobody in the living room. I heard some voices up stairs and I went to check it out. It was coming from my dad study room aka his office.
"look Dan you just can't believe what rumors say he is not ready for this" my mom was shouting at my dad which is very rare.
" am sorry honey but does rumors are starting to seem true, rogues are forming a pack with the wolf that is known to have more that one element he has already taken down small packs in the east border and ours is next. " my dad replied with a cool voice in order not to get my mom more mad.
"how do you that, how can you be sure his coming for us I thought Seth was the only hybrid how come there is one more" wait what am not the only one out there but how.
"it the only explanation on how he was able to take down alpha Josh of the blue sea back so easily. Honey his strong and he has an army coming our way am sure his goal is to go after the strongest alpha." my dad said in a hushed tone like he heard something.
Oh shit I have to get out of here I used my vampire speed to get to the door outside so it will seem that I just came in.
"hello is anyone home" I asked just to make sure there thought that.
"alright am gonna head to bed now am not hungry "I raised my voice so that there could here me loud and clear.
I got to my room I locked the door and thought about everything I just heard.
Am not the only hybrid and there one more like me who is trying to take over the whole pack. My pack is the the second strongest pack pack in the world we are stationed everywhere, now the first strongest pack is called the dragon roar pack it run by my uncle who by the way is going to hand over his pack to his son Jason.
Now don't get me wrong alpha Maddox is so far the best alpha I have seen he visited my dad once when he found out about my condition he is a good man but his son not so much.
He just like Cyrus but more worse. He says am not fit to be and alpha son and that when he becomes alpha the world will be at his mercy. Now imagine a 10 year old boy thinking about that isn't he crazy.
But still who in there right mind will want to go after a pack like that. It just a suicide mission.
Ugh and what did my mom say about me not being ready, ready for what actually.
I need to sleep all this thinking is too much.
