Seth POV
It just been an hour I woke up and I can already feel the tension in the house even smell there fear. There faces just screaming disgust and let me just be hanged or burn alive.
I didn't even mind all that anymore I was more concerned as to why I feel this impending danger around me and what it means. It feels like it connected to my dream but I just can put my insecurities of my feelings towards my pack. Don't even know if I should still call them mine, there were never mine to begin with .
"Seth..Seth...Seth"
"Yeah what." I replied angrily not knowing who was calling and why.
I turned around just too see Emily shaking from fear. I was about to apologize to her when she replied.
"Aa..m vvvery sorry..the alpha asks for your presence in the living room" and with that she took off without a second glance.
I didn't really mean to scare her off like that but at the same time it thrilled me to know that she was afraid of me. I really am turning to a monster.
I went into the living with only my pj on and a glass of orange juice if u could see me now I looked liked a hippie from the early 90s, funny enough I don't even know how hippies looked like then.
My dad decided to approach me first since the beta and the elders were to scared to even breath.
"Seth could you lower your aura
Your gonna bring everyone here to there knees" wait what
That was what went through my mind. I didn't even know my Aura was out explains why Emily was so tense and everyone around me.but I didn't even try to bring any dominance or aura I just wanted a glass of orange juice.
"Am sorry I didn't know." I said after bring it down. The tension seem to have ease a little but there fear was still lingering on.
"So why did u call for me" I asked
"How rude don't you know your talking to the alpha of the second most powerful pack show some respect monster" that was the beta speaking ......oh wait a minute it wasn't the beta it was his son bryan
Emily big bro.
I can't believe I actually missed him seeing how big his arrogance is and stupidity. I mean he thinks his some kind of special kid just because his dad is next to the alpha and he feels he could become alpha one day.
Truth of d matter am not sure if he could actually fight. He does have a nice body for fighting I did give him that Guess he got it from his dad but I haven't seen him on the training ground once, maybe he trains somewhere else on female wolves, still won't be surprised if his bad at that too.
"Byran who gave you permission to speak. Do not speak out of line hear" the beta said to Byran holding him by the collar like he was afraid that I was gonna just spring up and attack him.
"That enough both of you " my dad said with pure power and anger "Alex make sure to teach your child some manners "
"Am terrible sorry alpha it won't happen again" Alex replied.
The look on bryan face is something I would definitely pay to see over and over again. It was like his pride was dash away not just by the alpha but his own dad. I had to control the giggles that were threatening to come out.
"Now to the issue at hand, the pack soldiers just informed me that three of our pack member's died last night.
There were torn too pieces and the only species capable of doing that is a vampire and not just any vampire an old one " he stated looking closely at me like he expects me to say *yeah I killed them cuz am a hybrid with issues* yeah right am just gonna watch this one play out.
"Ok so why you telling me this do you think I have a hand in the deaths of your pack scouts " I asked knowing were this is already going.
"Last night we felt a very murderous intent in the forest and the killing wasn't far from there either so we have every right to suspect you" seems Alex or mr beta is actually talking now.
"I have an alibi and i didn't kill anyone, yes I did portray some murderous intent last night but I didn't kill anyone" I said knowing that would still not convince them.
"Who is this alibi you speak off and how can we believe you. You just said our pack like your not part of it" one of the elders spoke up.
Don't ask I have no idea who she is.
"Well am sure you all Know Lexi she was with me last night after my rejection and you can ask her if she smelt any blood on me " I said.
"And you expect us to listen to the word of a vampire knowing fully well that it was a vampire who caused this. She could have every well killed those wolves and then just came to see you just so she could have an alibi" mr beta spoke now.
"And what is Lexi gonna gain in killing three wolves morever it couldn't be her cause Lexi isn't even old enough to kill three trained werewolves without getting a scratch or bitten and I wouldn't notice.so for me your accusations are baseless ."
"Something tells me you guys already have an idea who did this." I said
And just like that the whole room went silent which confirmed what I said. I took a full gulp of my juice and hit the glass on the table in order to interrupt them from there train of thoughts.
"How can you say something like that are you trying to say that we are trying to cover up something here?" An elderly woman said.
"Actually that is what I am saying until you guy's know how you want to deal with this matter am gonna go to my room and have another nap ,I got training at 12 " I said standing up and taking my leave.
I was halfway through the stairs when my dad called me back.
"What now" I asked
"The truth is we know who actually committed those murders but you can't say anything to anyone not even Lexi" he said
This must be serious if the elders and the alpha tried to cover up the case by blaming it on someone and making me keep a secret from Lexi even.
"Ok I guess I won't tell Lexi anything so who killed the wolves" I pushed on a little further sounding serious an all.
"It not who but what.he has been on the move since you transformed into a hybrid. Everywhere he goes he turns it into a waste land ,he has defeated alpha from alpha and his pack consist of rogues. He doesn't spare and pack he comes across."
He took a minute and a deep breath before continuing.
" He has hit three packs in a week and I believe he is trying to make this the fourth."
Well that was shocking news the werewolf kingdom was falling apart little by little by just one man and some rogues.
"Who is this man?" I asked
"Rumor has it that he was an experiment between the witches and the vampires"
"His what we call a hybrid"
