I could have sworn I felt Someone behind the door but when I got there I didn't see anyone at the door. My wife looked at me like I gone mad well she been looking at me like that for a long time.
"I thought I felt someone at the door"
I said
"hello am home" my son shouted from below the room. " alright am going to bed now am not hungry ."
I can't imagine he isn't hungry but anyway that not the issue.
" hey Dan I don't think it wise for you to make Seth go back to school with this type of threats hanging in the air. What if there attack him in the school. Beside I don't think his ready to go back after all that happened."she said for the second time.
"seth is stronger than you think he has up to three elements honey " I said getting close to her and holding her hands so that she could understand me better.
"I understand but am just afraid for him his still my little pup after all" she replied with tears in her eyes. I understand her but she needs to understand that i need him some way away in order to neutralize the threat.
Even If he feels that I hate him. I don't know what came over me when I said those words and tried to kill him.
" don't worry I protect him with all my life "I said giving her a kiss on the top of head. I will give my life for him if I have too he is my baby boy.
Seth POV
I woke the next day, I checked my phone to receive a text from ember saying she will not be able to make it but she texted me list of things I need to know and our cover story.
The way she wrote it you would have known that she has been thinking about this before Now, Which means she knew I would accept her offer.
She is smart I will give her that. But I think am starting to like her, no I can't like her very soon her mate will come and claim her. I need to just focus and so what I need to do.
Luckily for me my parents agreed that I could return to school. The rest of the day went well I think. My dad was on edge and was out the entire time. My mom too was also on edge but all she did was just hogging to me and telling stories of her youth. Other than that I was fine. I phoned Lexi that night.
"hey Lexi what up "I asked over the phone.
"Wat up old man why did you call an gonna see you tomorrow"
"yeah about that am going to school and I won't be back till 4 pm can you train me then. "I asked as I layed on top my bed and the phone on my ear.
"is that all yeah sure I could come around that time anything else "
She asked.
"yeah I need to know what you know about another hybrid like me." I asked and I didn't receive an answer for what felt like hours.
"how did you know about that"
Finally she talked
"it doesn't matter I just need to know and my your reaction you know something so spill"
"I will tell you but not here tomorrow after training. "
"fine but you have to tell me ........."I didn't even get to finish my sentence when I was met with the sound of her ending the call.
I drop my phone and thought about tomorrow. As I was thinking I drifted up to sleep.
