Seth POV.
It been a few hours since the little incident that happened with the beta and my dad, of course his son did apologize to me later on but his apologize wasn't sincere not that I care.
What I really care about is why my mom insist on letting emily stay over, it like she doesn't care that her son was used and rejected by her. I mean even a human would habour so kind of hate or displeasure when someone hurts there child like that, but nope not my mom she still wants me to talk to her which now brings me to my current situation.
I'm outside the porch sitting on a bench trying to enjoy the night time, it already eleven pm and emily just sits next to me.
Well not next exactly she like at the far edge of the bench and I can feel the tension between us and I can hear her heartbeat pumping blood fast.
Which is getting annoying cause it makes me want to rip her heart out.
"Okay can you stop" I let out finally breaking the silence. She looks at me with a confused face.
"Your heartbeat....... slow it down, it too loud and fast " I tell furrowing my brows at her to get the message that I don't enjoy her company.
"Oh...am sorry" she says as she looks away shyly trying to slow down her heartbeat.
"Why are you here? I asked
"Well your mom wanted me t-"
"No, I mean why are you here" I said my voice getting a little darker which I see makes her uncomfortable.
"Ever since you rejected the bond you have been hovering over my House for a while" I explain to her as I turn my face to her.
She looks at me and I can see sadness in her eyes." I'm sorry..I know what I did was wrong and selfish of me" she said " but I couldn't just see myself with you and I let that cloud my judgement when I found out you were my mate" she said as she looked at me trying hard to make her voice firm.
"And now what am supposed to be like everything is fine and it wasn't your fault you were mated to a monster or that you used me to get what you want" I say to her lacing each words with spite to see her reaction.
And after I said those words she started to sob before stream of tears starts pouring out of her eyes.
She seems to be sorry for what she did which I don't know why so I decided to ask. " Why are you apologizing now"
She looks at me with her soft blue ocean eyes that are already clouded by tears.
"After I told you that I used to get to cryus and left you" you mean dump me right, don't sugar coat it.
"He still cheated on me again" wow what a surprise (-_-) I didn't see that coming.
"But on the day we all went into the woods I saw him with his mate and it kinda stinged that I wasn't his until I found out it was you,I was mad and couldn't get my emotions in check and I ended up rejecting you. " I just stare at her with a blank face trying to hide the hurt within I can feel Alex again and his pain but it seems like he pulled through. I made a mental smirk at how strong he is now.
"After the rejection my wolf was in pain, she blocked me out and that's was when what I did hit me. I had rejected my soulmate and my other half. I didn't know what to do" she said as she wipes away the tears falling down her eyes.
It really is odd seeing a girl cry, in other case I might have held her and tell her it was okay but right now I couldn't even muster up any empathy to feel for her and I guess she noticed too as her eyes stared back at me.
"So I came to ask for the alpha and luna forgiveness when I saw you and my wolf suddenly came out again trying to get your scent" okay now I was confused. And my face showed that cause my eyes wide up and my brows just went up.
"I know it sounds stupid" she said laughing or trying atleast in between the sobs and the night cold."your scent helps her get over the rejection"
Well I didn't know I had that effect.
I mean most rejected wolfs don't even feel the bond once it been cut off but for some it stays a little longer to see if the bond can be reattached and strengthen but it very rare.
Like as rare as dragons....
So forgive me if am a little surprised and taken back that some lingering attachment is still going on.
"Well I can't feel the bond anymore" I said as I get my face back in blank mood and just stare straight into the sky. I might have said that blankly without the means to hurt her but apparently I think I did.
Cause her head went down staring at her thighs and a sad expression took over face even tho she tried to hide it.
"But I still do" she whispers to her forgetting that I have super hearing.
"Look I can't tell you that I forgive you for causing me pain and anguish and I also can't tell you that anything will happen between us" I said as I keep staring into the abyss but also listening to her heartbeat which increases a little whenever I finish my sentences.
"But what I can tell you is this. You can stay in order for your wolf to be able to move on and find another mate." I tell her as I gently wipe the tears from her eyes and she gives me a weak smile as she shudders under my touch.
I pull away and I swear I heard her whine a little. I get up just brushing it off "let go back inside I would like to get some sleep before tommorow comes" I tell her as I start walking back to the house and she follows me closely inside.
