as I waited for my wife to return I could do nothing but just listen to my son headache, thinking of what I could do to put my son out of his misery. I could here how the cancer gave him huge headache as it grew rapidly.
I have tried to make break his curse by killing a human, I know not the best idea as a parent but how can u blame me his my son and his having a painful death at that. My thoughts were interrupted by my wife Isabella walking into the house.
"were did you go to" I said
"I went to my mother house today"
She answered
I just looked at her with a shocked expression because I know there not on the best relationship.
"so what did you talk about" I asked
"she told me something that could help our son but you must promise me that you do not tell anyone what I am about to tell you"
It must be serious for her To make me not to tell anyone.
"OK I won't tell anyone but you must tell me what it is that will save my son"
"do not object but the only thing that can save our son is the blood of a vampire"
"you said what the blood of those night creatures you must be kidding me right"
As I looked into her face I saw she was not joking at all. I could feel my blood rising at the name of the v word.
"There are werewolf natural enemy
I mean come on there are blood suckers for crying out loud Mary there kill people for sport"
"and we killed humans to activate our curse" I could feel her getting angry and impatient.
"OK honey calm down we can talk about this in a more calm tone"
"No this is our son we are talking about his is suffering and could die a few month from now and your here worry about moral principles when we are nothing but almost the same with those creatures as you call them"
I knew she was right but I could not put my ego aside being an alpha and all,but I could not also deny the fact that my son is dying.
"OK fine but how do we get our hands on the blood of a vampire" it not like one will just walk in the front door offering his or her blood to us.
As If she could read my mind
"we need to make a trip to a far town to meet the vampire that my mother mention to me"
"wait your mother knows a vampire" I asked feeling surprised to know that a woman that old could even be near a vampire.
"yes and we need to meet the vampire in next two days"
"Two days and you plan all these without even me knowing" I said about to yell at her before Seth walked into room
"Why all these yelling at this time of the night am trying to get through the headache" his voice had an agitated tone like he could here us from his sleep.
"Nothing Seth go back to sleep ok"
Isabella said almost in tears.
As he went upstairs to his bed room
