❥ TWO: no offense

"Wait you did that?" Nanami asked looking shocked at the new information.

Ryuu nodded slowly as he sipped on his iced tea. "Yeah I did. Why's that so shocking?" He asks clearly not understanding why they won't believe him.

"No offense Tanaka but we just figured you'd be the type of guy to be intimidated by all the guys that have been trying to woo Ivanna. And by some miracle that you managed to confess, it'd be where you could be a few inches short in getting embarrassed in any case Ivanna didn't like you back." Asuka stated, voicing out all three girls' opinions. Her eye locking with Ryuu who shifted his eyes elsewhere.

Knowing full well that would probably would have turned like that if he didn't acted upon his feelings the right way. He couldn't even act offended because deep down he knew that he would've definitely acted that way.

Ryuu raised both hands in surrender, "None taken." Asuka smiled in victorious.

The three girls then started to chat along as Ryuu was stuck in his own thoughts. A couple of minutes later, as he was scrolling on his phone, a realization then hit him. Ryuu's eyes widened by a fraction, his head snapped towards them, startling them. "Yes?" Ivanna asks warily.

"When you said 'in any case Ivanna didn't like you back'. Did you perhaps mean that Ivanna likes me too?" Ryuu asks, eyes demanding for an answer. All heads turned to Asuka, "His words not mine." Ivanna rolled her eyes and smacked her, "Yeah which came from your mouth." Ivanna remarked.

"Bitch please. I simply voiced out all our opinions so you two didn't have to." Asuka retorted, she then turned to Tanaka. "I don't know Tanaka, it's just my opinion. Why don't you ask her for the truth instead?" Asuka added in a snarky manner. Ivanna sighs shaking her head.

Nanami who was catching on Asuka ploy, stood up and grabbed Asuka's forearm. "Come on, let them handle it. It doesn't really concern us." She teased while dragging Asuka along with her. Leaving the person involved and the other who demanded to know the truth.

Ivanna scoffs, "Don't look at me like that."

"Like what? Tell me Ms Elite are you intimidated?" Ryuu asked teasingly, leaning over on his hand that was propped onto the marble countertop. "No I'm not." Ivanna replied. Ryuu smiled, "Really?" Ivanna nods looking away. "Then answer. Do you or do you not like me?"

"It's not a matter of like." Ivanna answers pushing his face that crept closer to hers. He turned his gaze back to hers, pulling back a bit. "So you admit in liking me?" Ryuu questions.

A small blush crept into her cheeks, "I told you it's not a matter of like!" Ivanna hastily says. "Is it so hard for you to admit that you like me?" Ivanna spotted her brother's car in the driveway, "This conversation is over."

Ryuu grabbed her arm as she was about to leave, "No it's not."

"Well unless you want to deal with my brother, this conversation is over." She said acting like a smart-ass and left when she didn't hear him reply. It was hard to contain her emotions that wanted to spill over.

As she hopped in the car, "Did you meet up with him?" She asks her bewildered older brother. "No" he denied. Ivanna was shook, "Then how?"

"Do you wanna go back there?"

"Nope, drive. Sorry please drive."

Damn, and here I thought that would work.. Ryuu thinks to himself as his eyes strained to the black car that drove away. His phone glistened, a website could be seen. A blog or article of some sort was entitled with a bold emphasis.

It read: 'How to act sexy and get what you want.'
