Fiasco

Chapter 13

(a/n I wrote this at 6 am so I'm sorry if it's not the best)

Ivan pulled out a chair sat down next to me, putting an arm around me. He was trying to make Luke jealous, I immediately pulled away and scooted over to Luke. He looked hurt and gave me a sad glance before returning to his conversation with luke.
Ivan: "my names Ivan, I'm y/n's best friend."
Luke; "nice to meet you ivan me and y/n were talking about seeing more of the city you're free to join us!"
Ivan: "sure, what day?"
As Luke was telling him the dates I could see ivan wandered off into his own mind.

Ivan looked like he was disconnected from the real world as Luke rambled on, I gave him a nudge to see if he was okay and he gave me a reassuring smile, god his smile is so contagious, I chuckled a bit and looked down playing with my fingers. Luke saw what I was doing and immediately pulled me into the conversation.
Luka: "sounds like a plan y/n?"
Y/n:" I-I uhm no I mean yes I mean definitely-"
My sentence was cut off by Luke laughing and I blushed a bit, we had to close the cafe so i gave luke a hug and say goodbye I saw Ivan and saw he was expecting a hug or a kiss, I hugged him and let him ago after a few seconds, he gave me a kiss on the forehead and walked out.

Ivan's pov:
I went to grab a coffee from y/n's cafe, I wanted to talk to her about everything and hold her and tell her everything would be okay but I knew better than that, I knew the media would not stop invading mine or y/n's privacy until they had the answers they wanted.

I stepped in and was hugged by a breeze of warm air. I so badly wanted to see y/n look at me and smile and come running to me but it's different this time, I left her when she needed me most and to make it worse she knows nothing about fame. I asked for a coffee and sat at I table, I was chickening out inside but I kept my composure, I was waiting for the right moment to go upto her. I got lost in thinking of how to explain everything to her when he walked in.

I didn't think much of him until the moment I saw y/n's eyes light up and her smile become so radiant, she had fallen in love just like that, she looked as if everything around her disappeared and it was just her and Luke standing together. I couldn't bare to see them falling head over heels for each other while I was sitting on the sidelines. I was about to get up and talk to him when he walked away and took a seat, good seems like he knows his place.

I watched as y/n carefully served his drink and pulled out a chair next to him. They spoke for a while and I saw the loving glances they gave at each other there's no way I was gonna let them fall in love when she's mine.

I got up and took a seat next to them and wrapped my arms around y/n but she pulled away, it felt like a punch in the stomach, and she scooted closer to Luke and further from me, it felt like y/n was at my fingertips but I couldn't reach out and grab her, I started a boring conversation with Luke and as much as I want to hate him I can't seem to, he's a genuine person and he's so welcoming. He invited me out to see the city which caught me by surprise, I thought he would've tried to shoo me away and keep y/n for himself but instead he wanted to get to know me. I said yes thinking it would be the perfect opportunity for me to talk to y/n and clear everything up.

Y/n gave me a playful nudge to see if I was okay, I looked at her but couldn't help but smile, her beautiful eyes and her smile, everything about her is perfect. She started playing with her fingers and I went out to reach for her hand but Luke involved her in the conversation, she started stuttering. She's never stuttered before she must really be in love. We got up since y/n had to shut the cafe down and I saw her and Luke hug and stare at each other for a while, she turned her attention to me and hesitantly hugged me, it felt so good to have her in my arms, I couldn't help myself so I kissed her forehead praying that me and her would end up together no matter how long it takes, she's the one I wanna spend my life with.
