"I love you Xiao Bai" The words that seemingly Feng Jiu had wanted to hear ever since she first set her eyes on Dong Hua were spoken so easily by the man next to her. The words, the man she'd longed for was there seemingly pulling her into a dream itself. A dream which would last an eternity. A dream containing both of them alone never to be separated again. Isolated from the world, here in this eternal dream.
Although Feng Jiu felt overwhelmed there was something at the back of her mind told her to run away. Something reminding her that the picture of love she'd painted wasn't that ridiculously simple. That she was being fooled by her own imagination.
The dreamy man in silver hair held her hand and led her somewhere whilst she was still in a daze. His gentleness made Feng Jiu even more muddleheaded. There were silence and something in the place or in the man's honey words or mellow voice or just his eyes which made Feng Jiu sleepy. Almost as if a glittery world was beckoning to her, waiting for her to open the door and forever fall into a beautiful space.
She found herself picturing a world where there was Dong Hua was lying in her lap for a moment. The next moment they were playing around. She was running away from him while looking back at him with a coquettish smile when the man just waved his hand and she was magically there, in his arms once again.
"Di Jun..." she murmured when her heart started to beat wildly. Blood rushed into her head and she bit her lips, only to spit out a mouthful of blood. It was then that she regained her will and looked at her injuries and carefully at the man whose silhouette was just barely visible. It was like it would disappear any moment.
"No," she whispered, almost to herself. But then a voice at the back of her mind reminded. Snap!
Di Jun is in the mortal realm. This can't be. This...this place...Di Jun I have to go to him.
Feng Jiu quickly looked for the exit as the place started to fade. The next moment Gunsha Jade glowed and Feng Jiu was out of the space back into the entrance of the pagoda after going to the turbulence of space.
She was still in shock that she might have just lost herself just now if her injuries hadn't acted up. She might have lost herself deeper and deeper into that mysterious space without finding the exit to the point of no return. This legacy had been a tough trial for Feng Jiu. Yes, she had caused trouble unlimited amounts of time and had been in dangerous situations in the past. But never was the experience so dramatic, bone-chilling, and decisive. She could do it because of Dong Hua.
She finally smiled as she was back in Qinque.
"The formation had become weaker on its own master. It will break in a few days anyway." A voice startled Feng Jiu.
"Is it you?" she asked holding the jade necklace with wide eyes.
"Of course. You received the legacy and awakened me. So you're my master." The little jade replied in a voice that sounded rather childish. "Your legacy is with me and you can visit the nine pagodas anytime. They contain nine different techniques. But according to your level, you can only practice the first technique."
