Feng Jiu's POV
A week was over. In which we had familiarised ourselves with the city and shopped like a lot. Especially I got too excited and spent too much on all the clothes which are not even comparable to the fine silk robes in my collection. And I have realized that I'm in love with...You know coffee, pizza, burger, fried chicken, and of course...potato chips.
Xiao Yan was sad all the time and then Di Jun suggested he wait at the cave we saw when we first came to the mortal realm since it was suitable for secluded meditation and calming down Qi. Which Ji Heng would need since she was poisoned with the cold toxin something. He really cares about her. But then why didn't he go with Yan Chiwu to look for her while he has been practically glued to the cave in hopes of Seeing Ji Heng?
But before that, I got my revenge with the help of Di Jun. Actually, I had no idea how to scare them. I always came up with Ideas. And in fact, I could easily fool Yan if it were not for Fang Lei. He just wasn't cute and simple like Yan. Okay, he was so intimidating when we first met. Since then Yan Chiwu's company has definitely made him cuter. And Dong Hua has opened up so much to them. Like I saw him actually having conversations with Yan and him doing a facepalm but still. We have opened up a lot too. And by the way, he took my revenge by making them eat his heavenly sweet and sour fish. They thought it would be some Masterchef dish. But Yan threw it out the moment he tasted it and Fang lei swallowed it with hesitation. Xiao Yan went on a full rampage and then Di Jun mentioned Ji Heng. Thus he forgot about the whole matter and happily ran out.
I swear I'll tell him to make a sweet and sour dish for everyone I know. He has to, now that he is my friend right? It will be too fun. I can't seem to calm down. Just imagining it made my eyes glint. I shouldn't really laugh but Fang Lei is still in bed. He literally got food poisoning. So I had to deliver him some congee I made.
I approached him all embarrassed and all. After all, I felt a little bad but I was also slapping the inner me for rotating her bum on the floor and laughing her ass off. He was sitting in his bed lost in his phone when I knocked on the door. He looked up at me and gave me a warm smile. I guess he's not angry like someone.
"I'm sorry I didn't know you'll like..." I started. I mean who knew he would be so weak. I ate so many while I was his fox. I almost lost all my precious fur though. The thought makes me shiver. Well looking at him now, Dong Hua's sweet and sour fish is truly vicious.
"You're smiling!" he huffed. I shrugged.
"Do you know how dangerous that fish was?"
"Oh please. You guys exaggerate." I said defensively.
"Really now Jiu'er?"
"Ugh. Feng Jiu! You don't get to call me Jiu'er..."
"And Dong Hua Di Jun can call you Xiao Bai?" He asks, a little annoyed. I blush.
"He's dif..different. What is it to you?"
"Can't you guess?" He stood up and neared me. I kicked him and he fell onto the bed.
"Ahh." He cried dramatically. I laughed a little and prepared to run off.
"You're too cruel." He said pouting and still clutching at his stomach. I laughed again. He looked at me strangely and then turned his gaze away. Now I felt a little guilty. Had I gone overboard? I didn't feel so.
"Xiao Lie, if you keep that expression, I'm gonna call you little mermaid." I gazed at him mischievously. He looked back at me weirdly. Then I recalled what a player he was in the heavens and hmphed.
"Little mermaid! I'm gonna go fetch some little mermaids for you if you feel like flirting." She said teasingly leaving Fang Lei flabbergasted.
"Am I that kind of person?" Fang Lei smiled.
