"You're not going to detention?" M A R I C E was putting things in her locker as Raven was watching something on her phone.
"Marice, when have I ever gone to detention?"
Marice said nothing because she knew she's never been to detention.
"Exactly."
"I don't think him being your next target is a good thing Rave. Let's just have a peaceful senior year. No more problems." Raven looked at Marice with the most serious gaze. Then erupted with laughter. 
"Yeah like that can ever happen."
"We can at least try?"
"I'm sorry, but my mind has been made up." Marice closed her locker door.
"I know you're stubborn so I know I can't convince you. Just don't torture him too much. He seems like a good guy."
"Oh, Marice you're such a nice girl. Sometimes I don't know how we're friends?"
"Probably because I'm the only one that can actually handle being your friend?"
"Very funny."
"I wasn't kidding." They both laughed at each other as Raven saw Landen at his locker.
"Why don't you ask him to come with us and officially join our little club."
"Club?"
"Oh you know...Golden Stacks outlaws. You're the most down to earth person who has more money than most kids in this school combined and me the most rebellious girl no one can seem to stop. Then the new kid, he seems like he's not like the other kids from Golden Stacks. I think he fits in our little club just fine. Don't you think?" Raven doesn't wait for Marice to respond as she walks over to Landen.
"Hey Landen! You want to go to the mall with me and Marice? We're thinking about buying something to eat."
"I can't. I have something important that I have to do. Have fun though." Landen says smiling at Marice before he walks away.
"Well that went well. Not." Raven says under her breath.
"So much for the Golden Stacks outlaws." Marice says as Raven bumps her shoulder.
"Yeah well I guess it's just us two." Raven says putting her arm over Marice.
"I actually have to work." Marice took Raven's hand from her shoulder as Raven pouts.
"Come on. Do you have to work today?" Raven whines as she put her puppy dog face.
"Don't give me those eyes. You know I hate it when you do that face."
"You can't resist it." Raven says playfully.
"No because it scares me." Raven frowns as Marice laughs at her friends antics.
