didn't know what to do after the talk with Landen. After the last bell, she drove home to change into her work clothes. She came into her workplace and started working right away helping her co-worker when a bunch of little kids came rushing in.

"So let me get this straight. You met a cute boy today who not only decided to be your partner in a project but you also gave him a TORTA? Marice, not once have you given me one of Rosa's famous tortas? The injustice," Olive her co-worker was being overdramatic when she was listening to Marice's day.

"I told him about one of the most important people that were in my life and all you can think about is that I gave him a torta?"

"Oh no honey, it's not just any torta. It's Rosalinda's tortas we're talking about and the only reason I am so surprised with that is because when it comes to her food you suck at sharing." Marice looks at her with a confused look.

"Remember when you came into work and you hadn't eaten at school and you still had a tamale from your breakfast. The second I took a piece you went CRAZY." Olive was telling her as she pouted at Marice. She remembers the day she went AWOL towards Olive. If Raven hadn't forced her into helping her with a prank she wouldn't have acted that way.

"Okay, that day I was starving because of Raven. It's not my fault that when I'm hungry I'm a crazy monster. I apologized the next day and brought you some leftover tamales." Olive sighs and accepts that she did give her some amazing tamales the next day.
