"Come on Mars we're almost there."
T H E L I T T L E B O Y was helping the little girl up the hill."Why are we doing this again? We'll get in trouble if they find out." She said grabbing onto her childhood friends' small but assuring hand. The hand that she knows would never let her go.
"I want to show you this cool place I found." He said still holding onto the little girl's hand as they made their way to the top of the hill.
"We're here!" Said the little boy as he showed the little girl the place he found. It was better than beautiful it was magnificent. It was the most amazing place she has ever laid eyes on.
"W-what is this place?" She asked as she looked around the place. The sun was setting so it was a colorful view of pinks and yellows.
"Isn't cool. When you know who kicked me out, I just started walking and walking and bam. I found this place. It's pretty right." He said looking at the little girl.
"Very." She said with a cheerful smile.
"This is our secret hiding spot so nobody but us can know about it. Understood?" He said looking very serious about this.
"I'll keep my word." The little girl said as she zipped her lips as if she was locking it with a key.
"If anything happens just know that I'll always wait for you at this spot." He said as he looked at the sunset.
"Thank you, Edan." She said looking at the small boy. "For everything." She was the happiest when she was with him.
He was too.
Ring Ring Ring
"Uhhhh." Marice woke up knowing it was the first day of her senior year. She felt weird about how she dreamt of her childhood friend after all these years since the last time they saw each other. She hasn't seen him since he moved.
"Come on Marice it's your first day of school I don't want you to be late!" Her mother said from the hallway as she got up from her bed and walked towards her closet.
There wasn't much variety but thankfully for her, she had a uniform. You would think a rich girl like her would have any brand she wanted like the other girls at her school but she wasn't like those other girls.
She knew she could never be like those girls.
She wasn't one to deal with the constant need to look for the perfect outfit to complete strangers and seek their approval. She wasn't that type of girl. She walked to the bathroom to brush her teeth and brush her hair. She had changed into her uniform and put on her favorite pair of black vans. She was as ready as she could ever be.
