Mad-Eye met with Lana in the Hog's Head, congratulating her on the letter her and Merula found, and suggested she 'become one of 'R'' in order to infiltrate the meeting. That way she could eavesdrop on their meeting without the worry of a disguise wearing off. She had the perfect idea: polyjuice potion.

Lana managed to convince Penny to help her brew the potion, but Snape caught them whilst they were gathering ingredient, lecturing them on the dangers of using polyjuice potion, but Lana didn't listen...obviously.

She then came to a sudden realisation: in order to become a different person via polyjuice potion, you need a piece of said person. And who is the only person they know that belongs to 'R'? Patricia Rakepick. Yes, Lana had to become Rakepick.

She needed a piece of the witch to transform into her, so she headed to the DADA classroom with Ben, Merula, and Bill. Lana ended up finding a strand of Rakepick's hair lying around her desk! She took it straight to Penny, ready for the potion to be brewed.

"What's this about, Riviera? Finished the polyjuice potion yet?" Merula asked. Lana had met her and Bill in the DADA classroom the next day.

"Penny and I prepared it, but it needs a month to brew, which gives me time to learn to act like Rakepick!" Lana answered.

"Is that why you've asked us to come?" Bill asked.

"The three of us spent more time with her than anyone else did. That means we're most likely to remember the details I'll need to pass as Rakepick."

"You've got a lot of work to do." Merula scoffed.

"I'm leaving for Gringotts soon. We should get started, shouldn't we?" Bill asked.

"Of course!" Lana grinned.

"Fred? George?" Bill asked, looking up at the balcony behind Lana, "What are you doing here?"

"We wanna play, too!" Fred grinned.

"We're not playing! This is serious!" Merula frowned as the twins joined them.

"Really? 'Cause it sounded to us—" George started.

"Like you're playing pretend!" Fred added.

"And we're the best at playing pretend!" George grinned.

"Best not to argue, Lana. They won't give up!" Bill chuckled.

"I suppose they could have some...interesting ideas." Lana said thoughtfully.

"Fine. Let's just get on with it." Merula said impatiently.

"Alright. I'll need your help to ensure my Rakepick impersonation can fool 'R'." Lana told the twins.

"The key to a proper impersonation is the element of surprise." Fred said.

"If all else fails, set off a bag of dungbombs!" George added.

"Alright, you two. Shove off." Bill said, smiling fondly at his younger brothers.

"Don't let mum hear you say that!" Fred said, acting hurt. He and George ran out of the classroom, leaving the three others by themselves.

"I can't believe we were ever that annoying as first-years." Merula said, rolling her eyes.

"That's not on! Fred and George are my brothers. No one calls them annoying but me!" Bill frowned, "You didn't think they were annoying, did you, Lana?"

"No, of course not! I love the twins, they're fun." Lana smiled.

"Exactly! Fred and George always cheer people up!" Bill grinned.
