Dedicated to DB ✊🏽

August.

Draya been grown for a day and don't know how to act. Nah, but she been happy as hell. Ion want her to be crabby, but I wanna know what's got her like that. It's probably something to do with ya boy knocking her shit down last night.

I was up, showered, and dressed. Ready to go. But Draya was walking around in a bra, sweats, and socks, eating her second bowl of cereal, like we ain't got somewhere to be.

"Lah' girl. If you don't put yo damn shirt and shoes on." She held up her finger, telling me to wait.

"I'm almost done." She said before putting another spoonful in her mouth.

I shook my head and just started playing on my phone. Another twenty minutes had passed before she finally sat down to put her shoes on. "Pass me my shirt." I got up and grabbed her shirt, handing it to her. I sat back down, scrolling through my TL. "August."

"Wassup?"

"Help me." She whined. I looked up and started rolling.

"I told yo ass ya head was big." I cackled while I helped pull her shirt down.

"Leave my head alone."

"I feel bad for that baybeh." She glared at me. "Gon' have that massive ass head." She pushed me, then walked off into her closet. She came back out with a hoodie on. She picked up her phone and bag.

"You ready?"

"Yeah, come on." I picked up my phone, and grabbed her keys. Following her out the room, I turned off the light.

When we got to the bottom of the stairs, the front door was opening and her uncle was coming in. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me walking behind Draya. I could tell he just got mad, but ask me if I give a fuck.

"You let this nigga in my house?"

"You never said I couldn't have company." She shot, folding her arms across her chest as I grabbed her waist.

"Baybeh, you ready?" I smirked.

"Yep." We walked around him, and left the house. "Thank you for not acting an ass." She said as I pulled off.

"You know I gotchu." She smiled. "We'on need you stressin' ya'self or the baby."

"I know. But you have a temper." I nodded.

She started laughing out of nowhere, making me glance at her, then back at the road.

"Whatchu laughin' at?"

"I already know he's gonna go in my room." She grinning and laughed again.

"Oh well. He gon' find some shit he don't wanna see."

"I know. Can you go to Starbucks?"

"Yeah." I drove a little more before I turned into the drive thru. "Whatchu want?"

"A venti caramel frappuccino, extra caramel. And a cookie, warm please." I looked at her. "Don't judge me." I held my hand up in surrender. I pulled up and ordered her stuff.

I pulled up to the window and reached in my pocket to grab my wallet. When the lil' window opened I mentally smacked myself.

"$7.23- August?"

"Wassup Tanya." I handed her the ten.

"Since when do you come to Starbucks?"

"Since his girlfriend asked him to, now can you please hand me my drink?" I looked at Draya savage ass as Tanya huffed.
