Draya.

So... long story short, you tell a nigga you love him and he ignores you and leaves you on read.

It's been five days since I last talked to and saw August. My thing is, if you don't feel the same way, tell me. Don't have me walking around looking and feeling stupid. What I won't do is keep pursuing him to be shot down. I'm not the rest of these females flocking to him. I won't be chasing August. The fuck I look like?

Since he isn't talking to me, Brooklyn is going with me to my doctors appointment. I'm super excited to find out what I'm having. I want to be able to splurge on my kid because I can. Dont judge me. I'm just ready.

Currently, we're in Starbucks. I want a Caramel Frappuccino and Brook wants a White Chocolate Mocha, or something like that. I was in the mood for coffee and we had time to spare before the appointment.

"So what do you think you're having?"

"I think it's a boy, but I want a girl. What do you think?"

"I say... boy. Your stomach sits low, and people believe that's a sign that you're having a boy."

"Brook, you sound like one of those people." She laughed.

"Venti White Mocha, Venti Caramel Frap?" We grabbed our drinks and I recognized the girl from the drive-thru that one day. I chuckled to myself, earning a questionong look from Girl Tanya and Brook.

"Um?"

"You okay?" Brook giggled.

"Yeah, I'm cool." The girl looked at me like she recognized my voice. "Bye, Tanya." I waved and walked out.

I'm petty, I know.

"You know her?"

"One of August's old flings. She was working the window one day, and she started flirting with him. I'm siting there like, "Can I just have my coffee?""

"You are so stupid, now she at work confused." I chuckled, and started en route of the hospital.

We were driving and talking about random stuff when What's My Name started playing. We started dancing in our seats, acting like schoolgirls. That song faded into Take You Down and we broke out in song, sounding like fools.

She turned the music down.

"Dray, have you talked to Aug?" I shook my head.

"Nope."

"Have you attempted to?"

"For the first two days, on day three I gave up." She stayed quiet, so I continued. "I'm not going to run after him. We see each other every day and when I try to talk to him, he brushes me off."

"I can't say when he'll come around, but I hope it's soon."

"Me and you both."

"Good afternoon, Draya." Dr. Carr greeted as she entered the room. I smiled politely and said hello. "New faces, I'm Dr. Carr."

"Brooklyn, nice to meet you."

"You too. I'm so used to seeing August." She smiled lightly. I forced a smile, so am I.

She went over my charts from today and compared them to last time. I did gain weight. Who's going to be at the gym? I. We discussed ways that I could stay active and eat healthier.

We broke down the basics prenatal care and the risks of pregnancy. In about a month or so, she said she would refer me to birthing classes and other parenting classes. Which Brook so happily complied to accompany me on.
