Draya.
I woke up sore, and with everything literally throbbing. I couldn't stand up straight, and I couldn't move without wincing in pain. I don't remember getting up to eat last night, getting in the shower, or anything for that matter. But somehow I ended up smelling like my body wash and in pajamas.
Everything came flooding back into my head when my door opened.
"Get up." Was all he said before tossing a keychain at me. I grabbed the keys that fell before me, and dangled them in my face.
They were the keys to a Lamborghini Aventador, according to the tag.
I was seething with anger because he feels like he can buy me stuff to make up for the shit he does to me. I couldn't show that on the outside though. I gave my uncle a small smile and a insincere thanks. He nodded and left, and once the door was closed, I threw my head back and groaned.
After moping, I limped to my bathroom and started my shower. I got in, washed my hair and scrubbed my body, and got out. I put on some lotion and my undergarments before putting on whatever I was gonna wear.
I grabbed a pair of grey bandana joggers, and slid them on. From my closet, I grabbed a red Black Pyramid crew neck t shirt and paired everything with my red and white Grey Toe 13s. I added my simple gold chain, a gold tennis bracelet, and my diamond studs.
Who said I had to be a bum on the outside even though I feel like shit on the inside?
I brushed my hair back into a ponytail and went to brush my teeth.
After I finished my morning routine, I went downstairs to the kitchen and fixed me a bowl of cereal. I ate and prepared to leave the house in my gift. I grabbed the keys, my phone, purse and book bag, and beelined for the front door.
"Draya!" Why is he even still here?
"Yes?"
"Here." I walked to the stairs to find him standing at the top leaning on the rail of the landing that overlooks the downstairs. He dropped another roll of money in my hands and I left. I climbed into my Lambo and pulled off.

I pulled up beside the same truck I did yesterday and parked.
I calmed down and collected myself before I checked my face and neck for any visible bruises. I was good, so I climbed out and grabbed my bags.
I placed my headphones in, only for them to be snatched out.
"Excuse me?" I swung around, only to be faced with August. I huffed as I walked off towards the building.
I'd be a damn fool if I said he wasn't fine, but I won't admit that. Especially not to him.

"Miss Ramirez, what did Shakespeare mean in this passage?" We were starting to read Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, but in a more in depth manner so to speak.
"Star-crossed is simply ill fated. Romeo and Juliet are of two different, feuding families, and ultimately they'll fail in the midst of their love."
"That was cute." August called from the back of the classroom.
I rolled my eyes and mentally shot my book at his head. Grow up.
"Mr. Alsina, not another outburst from you, or you will be excused." Reddington growled through gritted teeth. "Thank you Miss Ramirez." I simply nodded and she went on and on about the beginning of the play. But since I had already read this, I just drowned her out.
