Chapter 5 Confessions

sorry this chapter took so long to make, i was buzy with school stuff, but anyway hope you enjoy this chapter :) xx comment as always what u think should happen

Just like last time I woke up from my lovely slumber, I was in a bed but this time in wasn't in a hospital bed, I was in a bedroom, one with a king size bed and black and white furniture everywhere. A bit like when I was waking up in the infirmary bed before, it takes me a while to sit up without feeling dizzy, but once I do, I immediately realise who is also in the room. Sitting on the chair next to the bed is Jace, on the sofa across from the bed sits Clary, Luke and Maryse, Jocelyn sitting on the edge of the bed, the opposite side of Jace. Jocelyn spoke first,

"why didn't you tell us (y/n)?"

"I... tell you what?" I stammer while trying to hide the truth still

"That you my sister!" Clary said almost angrily, but her voice was laced with emotion,

I sigh "I didn't tell you because I thought you'd resent me for the mistakes my... our father made" looking down to hide the shame in telling you secret for the first time in years

"Why would we resent you!? how could we, we don't know you, decides we know Valentine experimented on you as well with angle blood, that your younger than Clary. Because Jocelyn ran away with Clary, he didn't know if the angle blood worked or not, so he tested it on you" Luke said softly.

"How did you know? I didn't tell anyone" you frantically think back to see if you'd told anyone by mistake but you couldn't remember telling anyone purposely or accidently,

"Don't worry yourself (y/n), all is fine, know one else but us know your secret" maryse said reassuringly

you look to Jace to see if this was true, you don't know why but you fell strangely relaxed and calm around him. Jace just nodded in conformation.

"Okay so all of you know I'm related to Clary through Valentine and that I have angle blood in me as well, did you know... that.. I.. erm... have the power to make runes like Clary?"

"we know you had a power that no other shadow hunter has, like making runes, but we didn't know what it was, now we do. Did Valentine know about your power?"

"no he didn't, I only learnt how to use it and that I had the power after I ran away from him"

"that's good, at least we know that you didn't help hi when he was trying to kill us" this from Jace now but with relief evident in his voice.

"I wouldn't have worked for him, ever since I was little I hated to hurt things, so Valentine and Jonathan used to beat me and keep me in chambers in the basement, starving me for days even weeks sometimes" a tear leaked out of your eye from the horrible memory, "but I had friends, they where call Mia, Talia and Bethany, they knew about the shadow world and we managed to be friends an till Valentine found out and sent me away with Jonathan to a cottage, he never even noticed me, but it was very far away from my friends, I never saw them again" you were staring into the distance a few tears falling from your eyes still

"(y/n) what where there names again? there full names" Jace said sitting up strait

"Mia and Talia Quinn - there twins - and Bethany Groves. why?"

"I think I might be able to give you an early birthday present" he said smiling widely at you, what was he up to?
