so hey guy's, im sorry it was a little while since i got in my last chapter but this is the second one, hope you enjoy it :P

(y/l/n) = your last name

(y/n)'s POV

My leg was searing with pain, the Ravener demon I had just slaughtered had gotten a good bite in when I was trying to pin him down, but I had to admit he put up a good fight though we both knew he wasn't going to win against me. As I dropped the seraph blade on to the floor there was a shuffle sound near the door way, I quickly picked up the seraph blade ready for anything to come, yet what came round the corner surprised me, it was a guy, a cute guy, and way too golden for my usual type.

"hey, what you doing here!?" I asked forcibly no longer holding the blade upright, letting it dangle from her her hands since noticing his runes covering his arms and neck.

"i'm jace lightwood, shadow hunter, who are you? jace asked

"i'm (y/n) (y/l/n), what are doing up here? No one was with me but the demon?"

"how did you kill it your not nephilim?" he asked clearly confused and I actually would have laughed but the pain in my leg was too much as my leg finally gave out from the venom, I know I needed a silent brother to heal me but I know better, I couldn't possibly face the lightwoods, morgenstern or the fairchilds again.

Jace surged forward as I collapsed lifting me into his arms despite me protesting profusely,

"(y/n) you need help whether you like it or not, your going to the institute for the silent brothers help" jace said as he carried me out the building I had found out of convince though now I'd have to find another place to live since jace had found me and would probably tell the clave "besides how come you have no runes on you?" he continued as we were walking back through town, I knew I couldn't answer for two reasons: one, I was beginning to pass out from the venom. and two, I wasn't going give away my secret to a stranger for anything. blackness fell over me and the next thing I knew, everything was going back.

(time skip to 3 hours later)

when did I wake up? Who knows. where did I wake up? I kinda had an idea but that idea was stupid, there was no way I could be in the New York institute infirmary. Jace probably took me to some weird, very similar looking, old fashioned hospital, if he had taken me to the institute there was a good chance I was going to kill him... when I can get out of this bed.

I sat up in the plain wight bed but was suddenly pushed down by a pair of hands on my shoulders, who? I don't know. I open my eyes with great effort and found golden ones staring right back at me, but I recognized these eyes, as I was looking into them, every second that I did I seemed to somehow relax just a little more. Jace. It had to be him. He was the only person I knew with eyes like that.

"Jace" I grumble, not able to talk just yet "don't scare me like that" I say irritably, as I start to sit up again jace finally let me, though reluctantly

"you shouldn't be getting up, you're very weak and need to get your strength back" says a voice from the doorway, I looks up to see none other than Clary Fray standing there

"you don't know who i am do you?" I asks curiously, I thought at least someone would tell her that I was her half sister. Wouldn't they?
