TRIXIE'S POV:

"Hendrix!"

My eyes flickered open as I heard Daisy yelling for her brother in the hallway. Hendrix woke up too, groaning as he pulled me back down into bed when I sat up.

"She'll stop eventually" he said, refusing to open his eyes as he wrapped a muscular arm around my body.

The door swung open and I looked up to see Daisy standing there, her eyes going wide when she saw me. Hendrix sat up too, quickly covering us up with the sheets.

"Trixie!" she squealed, running over to me.

"Daisy leave!" said Hendrix, rubbing his eyes as I smiled at her. She hadn't grown that much since we'd only spent a year apart yet she was still bossy when it came to her brother.

"No" she said blankly "I wanna stay"

I held onto the sheets which were covering Hendrix and I as a little frown appeared on her face.

"You don't wanna watch shows with me?" she pouted, fiddling with her hands.

"No" said Hendrix. I glared at him, flicking the side of his head as Daisy narrowed her eyes at him.

"Of course I do" I said, the corners of her lips curving upwards "let me get ready first?". She nodded and ran out the room, closing the door behind her. I watched her go and pulled the sheets off us both.

"What the fuckk" whined Hendrix, pulling the back.

"Get up, it's literally 1pm" I said, getting out of bed. I walked over to his closet as my face dropped.

"What? What is it?" he said, looking at me.

"I don't have any fucking underwear" I said. A huge smirk spread across his face as he got out of bed. He walked past me and pulled on a pair of shorts.

"And you're upset about that?" he asked, placing his hands on my waist and pushing me back gently.

"Hendrix, I'm not about to have sex in your fucking walk in wardrobe" I said, pushing him back as he started laughing. He left the room and came back quickly with my white dress that I'd worn the night before. He handed it to me and it was in pristine condition, no blood or dirt on it.

"When did this happen?"

"After we got home last night" he said "I put it in the washing machine cause I knew you had no clothes"

"Oh, thank you" I said "I still don't have any underwear though". He shrugged his shoulders, giving me a lop sided smile.

"It's not the worst thing in the world" he said, taking my hand and walking into the bathroom. I got changed into my dress as he pulled off his shirt.

"You literally just put that on" I said. He looked at me, frowning a little as he spoke.

"I know but it's getting warm for some reason" he said, fanning himself. I turned on the a/c but soon noticed his face was turning a shade of red.

"Hey, come here" I said, placing a hand on his arm as he leaned against the sink. I stood in front of him, placing the back of my hand on his forehead. He was red hot.

"Hendrix, you're so hot" I said, growing concerned as he smirked and grabbed my waist.

"I know"

"No, stop it" I said, pulling away from him. I grabbed a flannel, drenching it in cold water and applying it to his forehead. He sighed, looking at me.

"I'm fine" he said "it was probably just something minor, stop stressing"

"You burned up so fast" I said "that wasn't minor"

"Can we go back to bed?" he asked as I dropped the flannel beside the sink. I nodded and held his hand, walking back into his bedroom. Daisy was sitting on the bed with her iPad.

"Oh good you're here!" she said excitedly. Hendrix groaned and dropped his head on my shoulder.

"Why don't you wait for me in your room, Daisy?"

Hendrix walked over to the bed and flopped down onto his stomach, face down into the white sheets. Daisy looked at him, becoming confused. She looked at me and I shrugged.

Without thinking, she stood up, holding the iPad between her hands and took a seat on Hendrix's back.

"Get off!" he whined, yelling into the sheets. She rolled her eyes and ran out the room, making me laugh as she closed her bedroom door.

"You're so mean" I said, getting him to lie in bed properly. I sat next to him but he pulled me on top of him so I was straddling him with my legs either side of him.

"I'm her brother, I'm supposed to be mean"

"No you're not" I frowned "she's supposed to be mean to you and call you names you hate like lenny"

My voice cracked on the last part and Hendrix quickly wrapped his arms around me, rubbing his hand across my back. My phone started ringing and I looked over to see that it was Mom.

"Answer it baby, she's probably worried" he said. I reluctantly reached over, raising the phone to my ear. I was still sitting on Hendrix's and watched him as he drew little circles on my thighs.

"Hey Mom"

"How are you, baby?"

"I'm good, I miss you" I said, Hendrix intertwined his fingers in mine, placing the other hand on my waist.

"I miss you too, Trix" she said "your luggage should be here and I've enrolled you into high school again since you're only 19 and could use a distraction"

"What!?" I groaned, leaning backwards as Hendrix wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me upright again "I don't wanna go, Mom!"

"Well you're going, you start tomorrow" she said. I rolled my eyes and leaned on Hendrix. He turned the TV on but had it at a low volume as I sat with my back to his chest.

"Also" said Mom "if you wanna go see your Dad then you should"

I froze a little as she mentioned him. I hadn't even thought about him since I got here.

"I don't wanna see him"

"Okay, I understand" she said "but if you ever change your mind, don't let our stupid arguments get in the way of you speaking to him"

"I won't, I love you" I said. We said our goodbyes and she hung up. I dropped my phone on the sheets and looked up at Hendrix who laughed lightly.

"You're going to school, loser"
