OLIVIA'S POV:

"Remember that time you tried to kill me at the mafia ball?"

I ignored Mattia's question as we danced to the slow song. I wanted to dance, except not with him. But he gave me no choice after he'd grabbed my hand and practically dragged me into the middle.

"You really thought I wouldn't be able to recognise you underneath that stupid mask" said Mattia, making me laugh a little as I remembered.

"What's your name?" he asked me, inching forward as we sat on the red velvet couch. I shook my head, feeling the knife underneath my dress. Anything that happened to him was under Mariano's orders, after all, he expected me to kill Mattia by the end of the night. I watched him as he reached forward, his fingers inches away from my mask. My hand flew to my knife, but he caught my wrist, giving me a small smile.

"You're not going to kill me, Liv"

"Shut up" I said bluntly. But inside my heart was doing backflips as I tried to forget the memory. He laughed softly, pulling me in closer. I frowned as I rested my head on his chest. Hearing his heartbeat against my ear as the lights dimmed a little.

He kissed the top of my head, placing both arms around me as our bodies swayed in sync to the song.

Soon enough, it finished and I pulled away from him, watching Trixie take a seat at the bar. She looked flustered as she ordered shots from the bar.

"Hey, take it easy" I said, walking over to her. She looked over at me as the glasses were placed in front of her.

"What we drinking?" said Mattia excitedly, coming over and picking up one of the glasses. Trixie and I watched him as he downed in it one, earning an impressed look from Trixie.

"Are you a child?" I asked him as he rolled his eyes and slipped an arm around my waist.

"Let's have fun" he said, looking over at Trixie "I think we're gonna be alright". I scoffed and pulled myself away from him. He looked at me in confusion as I walked away from both of them.

"Keep an eye on Trixie" I said to one of the soldiers on my way out "don't let anything happen to her or I'll kill you"

TRIXIE'S POV:

"Liv!" shouted Dad as he sighed dramatically "why are women so fucking difficult?"

"Shut up, Dad"

"Hey" he said "I might've fucked up but I'm still your Dad, you still respect me"

"You lost all my respect when you slept with another woman and sent me to her funeral" I said, downing the last shot and getting out of my seat.

"Okay just be careful, listen to your Mom" he pleaded "don't do something you'll regret cause the only rule here is no use of weapons or violence"

I thought back to when Hendrix had his hand around my neck and a gun pressed against my thigh in the room upstairs. Plastering a smile on my face, I nodded confidently at Dad.

"What happens if we break them?" I asked.

"Prison time, I think" said Dad, walking in the direction where Mom went. I watched him run after Mom before walking over to the dance floor. A bunch of girls smiled at me and I shrugged my shoulders as I started dancing with them.

"I'm Ally" one of them shouted, shaking my hand. I smiled at her, she had short black hair and green eyes. Freckles clouded the bridge of her nose.

"Trixie" I shouted back. I danced with them to Drake for around twenty minutes. It was the most fun I'd had in a while. The song changed and we all started screaming as 'controlla' blasted through speakers.

HENDRIX'S POV:

I raised the beer bottle up to my lips as I watched Trixie dance to the music. She was the prettiest out of them all, no one even came close.

I felt a small smile playing on my lips as she looked in my direction, blowing a kiss at me. I chuckled and turned around to the barmaid, asking for another bottle. She slid it over to me and I turned around again. My smile vanished as I saw Brooks walking over to her, grinning at her as she danced.

She didn't notice him and she was unbothered so I did everything I could to sit still. My eyes watching his arm as he reached out, placing his hand on her waist. I slammed my bottle on the bar, walking through the crowd as Trixie yelled at him.

"Come on, just one dance" he said, trying to touch her again but she slapped his hand away.

"Leave!" she shouted. He had a sinister kinda grin on his face as he stayed rooted to his spot, making the other girls become uneasy.

"She said leave, asshole" I said loudly, coming up behind him. He turned around to face me, glaring as he looked back at Trixie, pointing at me.

"You really chose him over me?"

Before Trixie could answer, I shoved him backwards, watching him fly across the dance floor. Trixie grabbed my arm and pulled me outside as everyone crowded around Brooks.

"Why do you always drag me away when it starts to get good?"

"Cause if they catch you being violent then you could go to prison" she said, frowning at me "even the gun in your jacket could get you in trouble"

"Hey calm down, nothing's going to happen" I said, wrapping my arms around her and pulling her into my chest.

"Yo, Trix!"

I looked to my right to see a brown haired boy wearing a cap a floral beach shirt and shorts. Trixie pulled away from me and ran over to him with a smile as she waved at him.

"Ambrose, hey!"

I placed a hand in my pocket as I watched travel across the parking lot. But a light caught the corner
of my eye. My stomach dropped as I turned my head to see Brooks raise a gun in Trixie's direction.

Forgetting any rules, I pulled mine out, rapidly
pulling the trigger and putting a bullet directly in his head. My breathing became heavy as his body dropped to the ground. I saw his hand twitch, provoking me to pull the trigger twice more to make sure he was dead.

I'd probably just lost everything but I didn't care. When I said her life was my priority, I meant it.
