- Chapter Nineteen

Chapter Nineteen:

 

“Hey guys, where have you been?” Harry asked as Louis and I walked into the living room, I took a deep breath and began to speak. “We just took a breather and looked in the twins room” I lied. Everyone nodded their head and went back to what they were doing.

“Present time!” Lauren shouted. She grabbed my hand and took my hand and sat me down on the sofa, I looked around and saw everyone with their presents. I smiled, I had so many people that cared about me. I was so emotional. I was so lucky.

“Aren’t you coming boys?” Lauren said looking towards Lou and Harry and the rest that were behind them. “It’s not really a manly thing is it really?” I replied smiling at Lou and Harry who smiled at me dearly silently mouthing ‘Thank you’ that I saved them from opening presents.  “Yeah ok then I guess” She replied and handed me the first present.

‘To Amy, Lou and baby Tommo’s… Enjoy! Love Ava and Will’ I read out the tag and opened the present. “Wow you guys, you shouldn’t have” I said smiling at them gratefully.

I picked up the presents.

-          2 baby onzies saying ‘Mummy loves you’ and ‘Daddy loves you’

-          A baby’s photo album

-          A Me and You twin box set which held 3 cream bodysuits, 3 pairs of socks, bibs and a bear.

I looked at that box set online and that wasn’t cheap…

“Thank you so much, I looked at these the other day” I said hugging Ava and Will.

“You’re a more then welcome sis. And it’s brother, sister thing… We’re telepathic” Ava said, me and Will laughed.

“Right on to the next” I said.

“Thank you to everyone who has come today and thank you to everyone who has given me, Lou and the twin’s presents, we are very grateful. Thank you so much” I said looking at everyone.

“We would also like to thank, one of mine and Amy’s best friends, who has organised this whole thing. Everyone please raise your glass and give a massive round of applause to Lauren!” Louis shouted raising his beer and taking a sip then clapping.

“Also, Lauren if you could come up here we have something for you” I said getting down to get the present for Lauren.

“This… Is for being the best-est friend anyone could ever ask for, sticking with me throughout everything, well my whole life. Thank you for everything you have ever done and thank you for being there for me, every day I have lived. Anyone would be so lucky to have you as a best friend, and Harry is very lucky to have you. Fortunately for me, I’m not stuck with you whereas Harry is. But this is to thank you for creating, planning and organising this whole baby- baby’s shower. Me and Louis are very grateful, I could go on but I know people want to go home and I certainly want a bath and to go to bed, but this is a little something for you and Harry from me and Lou” I breathed. I talk too much.

I handed Lauren the card and present and took a step back waiting for her to freak.

“Oh my god” She screamed she looked up at me and her eyes widened and were beamed with joy. “Are you joking?” She asked. “Why would I be joking?” I replied. “You bought me a freaking £500 pound voucher for my favourite clothes shop, a freaking ticket to a 5 stars, spa resort and hotel for the day and a four nights away in Paris, please tell me you’re not joking?” She asked with a shocked expression. “Babe I’m not joking you deserve this and more, so open the present” I said ushering the present to her.  She began to un-wrap the present. “Amy!” She shouted as she took the dress out. “YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS THIS COSTS LIKE A GAZILLION POUNDS” She shouted. “Calm down Lauren it’s only a dress.” I said calming her down.
