Chapter Thirty-One

Amy’s POV:

“Wait… You’re pregnant?” I asked Lauren in shock… How can she drop this big bombshell on me?

“I think I could possibly be, yes” She stuttered nervously.

“How do you mean ‘Possibly could be’ you either are or you’re not?” I asked intently.

“Well I think I am. My period is late. I have to go. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have told you. You can’t tell anyone ok” she said angrily with tears in her eyes.

“Lauren wait-” I began to say but she ran out the room before I could say anymore.

“Oh my god” I breathed.

That’s going to be the only thing on my mind now… All night this will be bugging the crap out of me.

“You alright babe” Louis asked coming into the bedroom with Lola.

“Huh what?” I asked coming out of my little day dream. My brain is going to overheat.

“You ok?” he asked coming over to me, placing his hands on my waist, pulling me into him.

“Um. Yeah I’m fine, just tired” I lied a little.

I went in to the bathroom and cleaned my teeth, getting ready for bed. I came out to find Louis playing with Lola on the bed.

“I hope she doesn’t have muddy paws. Or you’ll be washing the sheets” I said sternly.

“I always wash the sheets!” Louis whined.

“And why is that?” I asked getting into bed.

“Because I make the mess” Louis said quietly.

“Exactly. And what will you learn for next time?” I asked Louis, pulling the covers over me.

“Not to eat spaghetti in bed, to eat it at the table” He said sighing.

“Good boy” I praised him. I leant over to kiss him on the cheeks.

“Louis” I screamed quietly-ish.

“What? I’m not doing anything” He replied. Leaving a trail of kisses all the way down my neck. I couldn’t move, Louis had me trapped on top of him.

“Lou. Come on, we have two, one month olds less than a meter away from us” I said pulling myself out of his lock. And lying down beside him.

“I know. We’ll do it tomorrow” he laughed.

“You’ll be lucky” I replied smugly. Pushing his hand away from my thigh.

I turned away so I didn’t have to face him. But he only copied my actions. We were basically spooning. I plinked his arm around my non-pregnant belly and sighed.

“I miss feeling your bump” He said softly.

“Me too. But now you can feel how fat I am” I said a little saddened. I knew it was the baby weight. But I couldn’t help but miss my old figure.

“You’re not fat Amy!” he scolded me.

“It’s the baby weight and it can be easily lost, but keep it” he said sweetly. Man I love him.

I sighed there was so much on my mind.

“What’s the matter?” Louis asked.

“It’s nothing” I breathed. Leaning back into his chest, fiddling with his wedding ring.
