Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - 𝕁𝔸𝔼𝔾𝔼ℝ

Ch. 2 - Initiation

Hiro walked along with his sister, Mayumi, as they both approached the First Magic High School earlier than most students. "So.. because you're student council president I have to come with you early..?" The young man asked as he walked with his sister, gaining her normal up-beat reply: "Yup! I need to make sure you get up for school as your older sister!" she said as they continued into the gates of the school. This was Japan's most well-renowned magic schooling, where magicians learn to use their magic in more effective ways.

Admiring the fine craftsmanship that went into the building- Hiro set a hand on one of the chiseled pillars that held up a large portion of the roofing that held stairs below it. "Lovely.." he said to himself as the style of the building really.. spoke to him, if you could say that. 

Though the young man didn't know it; his powers would flourish into something truly deadly, and even surpass initial practical uses. The spike mages were hidden however, instrumental to World War Three, and even himself being used at a later point during the invasion of Okinawa but- of his own accord, and he even hid himself. Japan was a beautiful place however threatened by other countries due to their loss of land during the war, and then their eventual "evil" plaster.

The two walked through the school with their beady red eyes and black hair pretty much matching.. almost as if they were truly blood-related. They were early but, not as early as one would expect- only about 45 minutes early. His figure shifted through the halls as his shadow plastered the wall as he passed over windowed areas that the sunlight would shine into. 

Mayumi approached the student council room as she turned around and joked- "Y'know, you don't need to follow me as if you're my body guard!" which was replied with a joke by Hiro himself! "I mean, you are technically my 'defenseless' sister; what brother wouldn't want to guard you?" with the two giggling she waved him off, "Alright, alright, you should start heading outside to make some new friends!" as to which she was given a nod, and it was followed by Hiro pivoting and walking off into the court yard.

Needless to say, he did have to walk through the halls first. Students that were already there noted the interactions between the petite Saegusa and the burly Haruyama; "I didn't know she had a brother..." , "Where did he come from.. I've never seen him before." were common whispers and remarks as he walked through the halls. These whispers and comments annoyed him as he pressed on into the courtyard, and then eventually to the auditorium.

Upon entering the auditorium, he noticed that people were already taking seats and looked for seats near those without emblems on their arms. Hiro noticed a tall man standing next to a girl, it looked to be... someone familiar- and upon closer inspection it was two very familiar faces. Although they didn't know him, he sure as hell knew them; Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba. The young lady waved at Tatsuya as he began to walk away and eventually find his way into his seat. Hiro saw how Tatsuya operated at Okinawa and had already dictated that he wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of the nuclear power that his counterpart held.

He walked over to Tatsuya and asked, "Is that seat taken?", referring to the one next to him, Tatsuya motioned him to the seat. Hiro squeezed himself through as he sat down and the introductory speeches began. First off was his sister who walked onto the stage and began her speech- which ended in mass applauds from everyone within the room. Now.. was Miyuki. As the girl took her position on the stage, people commented on her beauty and looks- that'd be a given considering that she had fine genetic engineering to make that happen.

The speech well, needless to say, had gained mass praise from those in the auditorium from both course one and two students alike. Some of the men in the audience even began to whistle- as they were technically all still teenagers, they'd of course resort to more unorthodox actions to gain her attention. With that being said they all began to funnel out- it was now or never to make good relations with Tatsuya, and later the Yotsuba. "Uh.. hey! I'm Hiro Haruyama." He looked to Tatsuya's emotionless face as he introduced himself with just his first name "Tatsuya", Hiro didn't mind as he knew his last name anyways. Walking along side him outside, the young man noticed that Tatsuya made a break for Miyuki who was now basically being surrounded by everyone. Skillfully, the hidden Yotsuba walked through the crowd to Miyuki and complimented her speech, with the student council following soon after to take the young girl to her duties as a secretary. 

Hiro shrugged it off as he walked to his class, with Tatsuya slowly coming up from behind as they attended the same one. All of the talk was now on the taller man at least as he walked into the class and took a seat at one of the desks with the taller man following soon after. Immediately, Tatsuya had pulled out a manual holographic type keyboard and began typing away. A girl with red hair walked up and commented on his typing speed; "Manual? I've never seen anyone type that fast." as to which Tatsuya paused and turned around, "Names Erika Chiba, pleasure to meetcha'." she said with Japanese slang as they began to converse. Hiro had his desk right behind where Erika would sit, which was directly behind Tatsuya. A strong burly looking man about their ages turned around to them and saw Tatsuya continue typing- "I'm Leonhard Saijou! You can just call me Leo though." this followed with another female piping up. "I-I'm Mizuki... S-shibata.." the young timid girl piped in, with Erika responding with: "I'll just call you Mizuki!", and Tatsuya of course introduced himself as Tatsuya Shiba. "Oooh... you mean you're related to that Miyuki Shiba gal'?" Leo asked as Tatsuya nodded, "Man, you're lucky to have a sister like her." the young man said once again as Tatsuya sighed.

This then turned it to Hiro, as they looked back at him just staring off into space although- he was actually deep in thought. Erika said; "Hey, you there? Yooo-hoooo!" which snapped his wandering mind back into reality. "Ah- oh.. thank you for that. I'm Hiro Haruyama- it's good to meet you all." They looked at him and laughed lightly, Tatsuya just giving a small smirk, as he was snapped back into reality so easily but, so obliviously.
