The sun rose once again, with Hiro waking up a little late due to his time out with the female Shiba twin, a envelope was left next to him on his bed as he sat up and felt for it. His vision was slightly blurry however, it was regained as soon as he grabbed the envelope. Upon opening it, it was observed that there was a meeting to be had with him and a few JDSF officials. A sigh came from him; "Looks like I will be used more in my lifetime.." as he then got up and put his jacket on. Mari's match was starting by the time he made his way over to the meeting room.

A lower-ranking officer knocked and said calmly, "Major Kazuma. You have a guest." with a soft reply of "Come in." the deep voice radiating behind the door. Hiro walked in ahead of the officer which seemed to be of the rank of Second Lieutenant with the door clicking behind him. They seemed to be wearing down-time like clothes, so he dropped any formalities just by the looks of it. "It's been awhile, Hiro." he said as he motioned to the chair, himself walking over and pulling it out before sitting in it. "Indeed it has, Major." the spike mages were always fairly mannered, and treated those who were called by rank with respect.

Kazuma looked to him, "You may drop the formalities.. we're just calling you here as a 'mutual friend' today." this statement gained suspicion from Hiro. "I can already tell there's something wrong." He said lightly before putting his elbows on the table and placing his hand against his cheek. "The expectations of a spike mage precedes yourself so, we'll get this on track. The no-headed dragons, are you aware of this group?" the Major asked Hiro as he then replied, "I've heard the name. Never seen them before." he said as a teacup was then put down by Fujibayashi. "Thank you, Ms. Fujibayashi.." the young man said as he picked it up and took a sip from it. A mutual trust was already formed between him and the JDSF, and even if the cup was poisoned, his regenerative capabilities would immediately cause him to start steaming in an effort to overwhelm it. "I'd assume they're targeting the NSC for a specific school?" his eyes stayed the same as he put the cup down.

"I would say they more than likely are. I'd like to avoid getting Speci- I mean, Tatsuya, involved in this." the Major stumbled over his words for a second. "So you're counting on me since I'm apart of the student security body to assist." which gained a nod from him. "I have no issues with working with the Independent Magic Battalion however, as you may know, the power I can present as of now is at a limit." with an understanding tone, Captain Sanada piped up. "That's perfectly fine. Keeping your identity as a spike mage hidden from the public and the world should be a priority for now."

Major Yamanaka interjected, "Your classmates.. do they know you are a spike mage?" as to which Hiro shook his head. "Tatsuya would be the only exception considering he's worked with me before." which saw Yamanaka giving an understanding nod, the tall man was under the JDSF's jurisdiction anyways. "However, I really must continue to inform you. Spike mages will never fall under a military ruling." his eyes darted up to them. "I am here to make sure that the world as a whole stays intact however, my first priority is Japan." they looked at him again with another form of understanding. "It goes as far as to exempt me from the laws of warfare if needed, as you've seen in the past how powerful spike mages can be. Dahan. The spirit that inhabits me had a direct interaction with the extermination of that entire country." Hiro revealed to them as they began to look at him in a short of shock.

"Dahan made the fatal error of messing with those from the ten master clans, and it just so happened a previous user had feelings for one from the Yotsuba. Thus, when they attacked Dahan in full, they had Maelstrom." with calm words filling the air he continued to explain. "The spirit in its time outside of a body was able to manifest itself, finding someone to love, then when it became all too much, he moved against Dahan." He sat there informing them, with his voice being as neutral as ever.

"I'll give you time to process the information.. as to exactly what you're dealing with but know, if you don't cross me, I will remain a 'mutual friend' for likely the rest of my life." Hiro sighed as he got up, "Everyone is a slave to somethin', Major. You know that very well, and now you even know that I slave for." pushing the chair back in he then said, "Excuse me. I need to be heading back before anyone gets.. any ideas as to what may be happening." As he walked out they began to realize just how far down the rabbit hole this boy already was. That would all change.. in time, he'd see all.
