Both omori and sunny sit on a table across from each other
Omori's goal is to pick apart sunny's psyche and regain control of they're emotions
Omori: Have you ever even felt empathy.
Sunny looks at him curiously
Omori: if you had felt it, well you would have just killed yourself instead of remaining in a world you don't belong in.
Sunny: I'll throw it right back at you have you ever felt empathy.
Omori: Whatever could you mean.
Sunny: Empathy is being able to put yourself in ones shoes, but you seem to think that me committing suicide is for the greater good, but that is only good for the one who commits it.
Omori: Your wro-
Sunny: Do you have any idea what basil would do, he loves us seeing us dead would drag him to the same kind of fate how about aubrey, she would be devastated and feel betrayed all over again, kel let's talk about him he would blame himself for everything, Are own mother would you really want to put her through something like that again, taking away her only child left.
Omori holds his head trying to fight the collapse of his own psyche
Omori: heh... heh how about hero *omori says this believing he can flip the battle in his favor but is shocked when sunny doesn't even flinch*
Sunny: if I never told him the truth and just killed myself, he would blame himself and stoop back into his depression
This last retort finally broke omori
Omori: rrrgggg DIE
Omori swings his knife but sunny catches his hand holding him in place
Omori: Why why WON'T YOU BREAK
Sunny: I dont blame you omori for reacting this way, I created you as a coping mechanism to help me through my toughest time
Omori is on the edge of tears
Sunny: And I thank you for that I don't know what I would have done back then without you.... but it is time for you to sleep
Omori: I.... i..... I'm afraid sunny
Sunny: you'll be fine
Sunny smiles, his smile so bright it pierces through omori's body
Omori: I.... I L-Love you sunny
Sunny hugs omori as omori's body finally breaks down and fades away
Sunny: Thank you
The walls of darkness from the abyss fall
Sunny opens his eyes and sees his friends and mother asleep
Sunny giggles at the sight waking basil
Basil: hmm mm wait *he rubs his eyes* wha- SUNNY
he jumps up and hugs sunny
Basil's Yelp wakes the rest of them
They all yell, "SUNNY?"
They all hug sunny making him blush and smile
Aubrey: I'm so sorry for not being able to protect you
Sunny's mother: I was so worried honey i... I thought I lost you *she begins to cry*
Basil: I knew you would.... would be alright, I knew you wouldn't l-leave me again *he also starts crying on sunny's shoulder*
Kel: H-how are you sunny are you ok
Sunny's mother: oh yes, are you feeling hurt anywhere honey
Sunny: I'm ok
They stay in the embrace until they hear sunny's stomach start growling
Sunny's mother: Oh dear how could I forget, you must be starving I'll be back with some food, if you kids don't mind please stay with him
The group: of course
She smiles then exits
The four chat for a while and start watching tv
The four are watching a show based on an older franchise
Captain Spaceboy
Sunny notices that both kel and aubrey are in front of him and basil, so he makes up a devious plot
He looks at basil getting his attention
Basil: Hey sunny do you need som-mmmrfff
Sunny kisses him making basil's face blush and heat up to levels never thought of
The kiss lasts what felt like years
When sunny breaks away, he smiles
Basil: You bully *he whispers*
Aubrey and kel look back and see sunny watching tv normally and basil's face red as a tomato
Kel: are you okay basil
Basil: I'M FINE
Aubrey: oook
The two look back forward watching tv
Sunny grins at basil
Basil pouts
Basil: meanie
Sunny's mother enters with food
Sunny's mother: WHOSE HUNGRY
the group: WE ARE
*Hero's pov*
After getting bailed out of jail and getting grilled by his parents hero just lays in his bed.
Hero: So what now any other bright ideas asshole
He waits for a response and sits up
Hero: hello anyone
Hero starts to get aggravated
Hero: What are you just gonna hide since we failed!
Hero: HELLO COME ON OUT WHERE ARE YOU
Hero's door opens
Hero: finally
Hero turns expecting the something but..,.
Hero's father: What the hell are you doing son, we have to talk about this NOW
Hero gets dragged down the stairs and is forced to explain everything going on
Hero's parents start crying after hearing everything from the truth about Mari and what hero did in response to that and even what hero has been seeing
They hug hero crying
Hero's mother: I'm sorry, so sorry for not noticing this
they tighten their hug and hero begins to cry
Hero: i... i... I'm sorry
*? Pov *
A prison bus stops at a bus stop
Mr. Lastname, this is your designated drop off point please get off the bus.
The man gets off and pulls out his wallet containing a picture of mari,sunny, and sunny's mother
But sunny's face is blackened on it
Sunny's father: I'm coming home......... sunny
