"god, slow down, kenjiro!" kana whined, as she was trying to catch up to shirabu who was walking faster outside the gate— with his hand dragging her wrist.
"you're just too slow. you take baby steps. well, expected of a shortie-"
"suddenly, you're the one annoying me. well, whatever. where are we going anyway?"
the girl sped up her pace, taking larger steps so that the copper haired male wouldn't be dragging her anymore. now that they were walking right beside each other, shirabu stole a glance at her from the corner of his eye.
kana had a small pout plastered on her lips, but a protest wasn't coming out of them anymore. her hand gripped on the sleeve of his shiratorizawa jacket but he didn't mind it at all.
after all, it seemed more of a reassurance that she wasn't letting go any sooner.
"i was thinking you'd want some coffee...?" shirabu tried, making the girl choke on her own saliva and look at him as if he grew another head.
"coffee? are you aware that it's already 7:30 pm? are you seriously not planning to sleep or what?" the pinkish red haired girl asked, making a chuckle escape shirabu's lips silently.
"i was making suggestions. do you have any ideas, then?" he replied, so kana furrowed her brows slightly before grinning at her own idea.
"i know! let's just take a walk around the park! if we get locked out of the dorms, my house is the nearest from here. i'm sure mum wouldn't mind having us over."
"fine."
"anddd, don't think you've escaped me. we're still having a talk about what upset you earlier."
"kana-"
"what? can't i be a good friend every now and then?"
"hm, you wouldn't like it."
"it doesn't matter, i just want you to not bottle things up."
