My head throbbed where I had been hit. I woke to a sore neck and chained to a metal chair. "Where in Tartaros am I?" I demanded.

"Nice to see you again too Amaterasu. Kronos said as he stepped out of the shadows.

"I'm going to kill you if you touch Allycat again!" I snarled.

"No, you won't. You're going to help me get the power to destroy the gods once and for all." Kronos smiled wickedly at me as he stepped forward. "You see, I will have my revenge on my children by using their own children against them."

"Why would I help you after all that you have done to us?" I growled glaring.

"Well, for one, you won't have a choice." He feigned a hurt look, "As for what I've done to her, I have created a link between this time and the past. If it weren't for me she would be dead, wouldn't know her brother or have any friends like you. I would say that I have helped her not caused her harm, Amaterasu."

"Why do you think I won't have a choice?" I asked worry eating me up inside though keeping it well hidden.

"I would like to introduce you to your best friends, boyfriends, big brother." He beckoned to the shadows.

The figure was very similar to how Nico had described him, though skinnier than I had imagined. "Pitch."

He smiled darkly. "I see the little ghost King has told you about me." He tapped my nose so I went to bite his finger. I've heard that it only takes the force of biting a baby carrot in half to take off a finger.

"She is feisty. That'll be good. Boys, hold her down for me." He said with a laugh. To my shock, Travis and Coner stepped forward holding me still.

"Let go of me or I'll burn you." I snapped at them. They didn't even glance at me.

"Go ahead. They don't have any control left of their own. You'll be hurting two innocent friends of yours though." Kronos said smiling.

I glared hatefully at Kronos. "What did you do to them? Change them back now!"

"They'll change back after you've all helped us to win the war," Kronos said with a laugh.

"The war with the titans is over! You've lost so get over it and move on. They have defeated you every time. It's pointless for you to keep trying to drag this charade on like this. I looked over at Pitch. "What do you get out of helping him? You don't have any reason to team up with him."

"Actually, that's where you are wrong, child. By helping my friend here, he will let me have free reign over the fear without those pesky guardians getting in my way. No one will ever forget me again. I'll be powerful and remembered. You could be remembered too."Pitch's voice was tempting and gentle yet terrifyingly sincere.

"Why me?" I asked curiously.

"Like your kitty friend, you are powerful and an influence to many around you," Kronos answered with a smile.

"Why would I help you?" I asked cautiously.

"Your daddy won't be embarrassing you anymore. You could be able to protect Ailouros. With us, she could freely travel back and forth from her time and here. You know how she loves both worlds. You would be the one to give her that gift." Kronos whispered in my ear.

The part about Ailouros happiness was tempting. Very tempting. But the thought of dad being gone... No. I would miss him. "I won't do it. Just because dad and I don't always see eye to eye, doesn't mean that I want him gone. He may be annoying but he is still my father. He cares about me and is more help than you've ever been. I don't trust you Kronos. You've hurt Allycat too many times for that. I don't believe you would ever allow one of your pawns to use your power for their own use without consequences."
