Chapter Sixteen

Jordan

I had a rough start with my mom so I started over. I was just hurt by her actions. She just abandoned me and I was broken by that. But I looked past that after she explained. I remember like it was hours ago.

*FLASHBACK*

''Jordan I just want to explain what happened.'' My ''mom'' says.

''Explain.'' I sigh.

''Thank you. So your father and I, we where together ever since Jr. high. In high school we wanted to experiment stuff, not to much detail, but I was sixteen Jordan, I didn't have any choice. It was either adoption or.....'' She gulps. ''Abortion. I was definitely not going too do that. I was sixteen me and your dad where young stupid teenagers. I had no job nor your father. We couldn't of kept you.'' She sighs.

''What about your parents and his parents?" I ask.

''My parents, your grandparents, they where happy about the child but they where disappointed I was so young and stupid, they thought it also would be best to give you up for adoption. Now for your father's parents where the opposite. They kicked your dad out. They said I needed to get abortion cause they don't want grandchildren. So that's when we took your father in. We moved out to New York and had you there. Jason and Ethan where visiting there and they happened to be looking for adoption. So they took you. I have talked to them about you all the time until I just couldn't cause it hurt me knowing I gave up my daughter.'' She starts to cry.

''Mona.'' I hug her.

''Mom.'' She says looking at me. ''Please call me mom.'' She insisted.

*END FLASHBACK*

After that we clicked and we just always talked later out I found out I had a sister who was 12. Jayden was her name. I have a little brother back home with my dad. My brothers name was Jacob. My dads name was Mason.

It kinda was weird she named all her kids with J's. M little brother is 5 years old. I can't wait to meet the rascal.

But I wanted to show Brent to Jayden. I texted him and he said he'd come. About half an hour later I hear a knock.

''Come in.'' I yell.

The doorknob twists and in comes Brent, he eyes my sister.

''Brent this is my sister Jayden.'' I smile

''Brent Austin Rivera.'' She says slowly.

''Hey.'' He smiles.

''Oh my god.'' She says.

''She's a fan.'' I laugh.

''Can I have a hug?" She squeals.

''Sure.'' He smiles.

She jumps off the couch and over to Brent and hugs on to him like he's gonna die any second.

''Enough Jayden.'' I laugh.

She let's go and leads him to the couch to me. He sits down and pulls me on his lap.

''My sister is dating THE Brent Rivera.'' She laughs.

I just laugh and we sit there talking about a lot. About my family and what I've missed out on.

People think I'm not upset about leaving Brent but honestly I'm dying on the inside. I can't believe I'm leaving him. I don't want to and I can't. But if you love someone set it free right? In mean I can't actually do that though. Brent caught me when I fell. (Not for real she was falling for him and he was there to catch her.)

I just can't let him go that easily but I guess I'm being forced to.
