Chapter Six

Brent

After school I see Jordan walking home. It took everything in me to not walk with her. I walked on the opposite side of the sidewalk. I turn around and see the group of girls. I swallow as I see them approach Jordan. I listen to what they are yelling at her.

''Really? Wow, Jordan! Turn around and listen to me! You don't just have my boyfriend ask you out and you be acting like its not a big deal!" A girl yelled.

It surprises me that Jordan doesn't say anything back. Its not her fault a guy asked her out. She did say no though I already know that.

''Your such a bitch! Your the biggest whore ever! School slut!" Another girl yelled. Jordan kept her head down and kept walking.

Then the girls run after her. They pull Jordan around with Jordan's hair. I gasp. They start picking at her hair. Before one has her hand connect with Jordan's cheek.

I gave up on what Lexi told me and ran over there.

''LEAVE HER ALONE! GET AWAY FROM HER.'' I yell as Jordan's on the ground crying. The girls look up and smile.

''Oh, hey Brent.'' One says.

''Enough, just leave and leave her alone.'' I say.

''Brent you know we didn't want to do this.'' One smiled.

''Enough, I said get away and leave her alone'' I snap.

They all snort and walk away. I help Jordan up and she throws her arms around my neck.

''Brent, they won't stop.'' She says in between sobs. I held her tighter to me.

''Shhhhh, its okay, you'll be fine, they will stop as long as I'm around.'' I tell her.

''No Brent!" She said pushing away from me. ''They aren't gonna care! They are not gonna stop, no matter who is there, Brent, they aren't gonna stop.'' She whispers the last part.

''Why?" I said stepping closer to her.

''Just, Brent, you can't get close to me, we can't be friends, nothing, we can't be anything. Brent, you need to leave me alone and stop. There's a lot about me you don't wanna know about.'' She says as she turns her heal and starts walking. I run up to her and turn her around.

''But I do wanna know more about you.'' I tell her.

''Brent! Stop!" She snaps before running off to the direction of her house.

I was a bit tooken back. I just kinda sat there.

Jordan

I ran into my house and slid down the door.

''Jordan?" Jason yelled.

I ignored him and ran upstairs. I ran onto my bed and started crying even harder.

''Jordan? Are you okay?" Ethan asks as he knocks on my door.

''Go away.'' I yell at him.

There was a moment of silence before Jason and Ethan walk in my room.

''What happened kid?" Jason asked.

I ignored him and burried my head in my pillow. ''Just go away.'' I groan.

''J yo-''

''I said go away and leave me alone.'' I snapped. They both sighed before exiting my room.

I cried even harder all night. I skipped dinner and for once I didn't go on my laptop or phone. I cried myself to sleep that night. There's a lot about me that Brent can't and won't find out.

HEY!!! I know its been a while since the last update and I'm sorry!! I'm really busy with school cause you know school sucks! I fricking fell asleep at school the other day! Ugh! Okay well I'm gonna make a update calander type thing. I'm gonna update every Saturday and Wednesday! I hope I can keep that up! But ya! Hope you guys are liking the book!
