Chapter Twenty-Seven

Brent

We get to her house and we get out of the car. We walk inside and I go into the guest room where I was. I start to pack my bags before Jordan comes in.

''Brent stop, your not leaving.'' She says and takes stuff out of my bag.

''Jordan stop.'' I say.

''Brent your not leaving.'' She croaks.

''Jordan I don't want you in trouble.'' I throw everything back in.

''How are you giving up so easily?" She asks as a tear rolls down her cheek. I can't see her cry. I have to tell her my plan. I sigh and shut the door.

''Jordan I have a plan.'' I say. She nods. ''You have to agree to it though.'' I tell her. She nods and sits down on the bed. ''K, you know how tour is about two months right?''

''Right. ''

''Okay well, I was thinking we can text until tour, then the night of the New York show, right after I come here really late when everyone is asleep.'' She nods. ''And we sneak you out.'' I say.

She looks at me blankly for a minute taking everything I just said in. Then a big smile comes on her face. ''Yes.'' She said.

''Don't look to excited, your mom might find out.'' I say.

''One problem.'' She says.

''What?''

''My mom will go to California and think I am with Jason and Ethan and if I do go there after tour they are gonna tell her.'' She says.

''No they won't, you have no idea how much they miss you. Ever since you left they don't ever go outside anymore.'' I say.

She gasps. ''You mean...never?" She asks. I nod. ''They will understand.'' She laughs.

''K look upset and yell at me when I leave.'' I tell her. She nods and I grab my bag and leave the room.

''Brent stop! Your not leaving!" She crys.

''Jordan let the boy leave.'' Her dad yells at her.

''Your in on this too? You guys are jerks! Don't make him leave.' She crys., I look over my shoulder and she is actually crying. She is a good actress. I get to the door and put my hand on it.

''Thanks for the stay.'' I say and twist the knob.

''No.'' Jordan crys.

''To your room.'' Her mom orders.

Jordan screams and runs to her room before sending me a wink and upstairs she disappears. I smile once I'm in my car. I really hope her parents don't find out.

Jordan

I just told Jenn what happened yesterday and she just kinda sits there.

''What's wrong?" I ask.

''Nothing I was just wondering something....'' She trails off.

''What?'' I ask,

''Take me.'' She says.

''Wait what?'' I ask her.

''Take me with you! I can not stand my parents anymore! Please Jordan take me with you!" She shakes my shoulders.

''Fine but I have to tell Brent.'' I smile.

''YAY!!!" She hugs me. Then I hear a beep and look behind me my mom is here. She doesn't trust me walking home. Smart move.

''Okay, on Wednesday, at 1:30am.'' I smile and walk in the car.

''How was school?'' My mom asks.

''Why do you care?" I ask.

''You can't hate me all because I made Brent leave.'' She says.

''Yeah I can, and I am.'' I snap.

''You won't stay mad for that long.'' She smiles.

''Stop acting like you care.'' She pulls in the driveway and I hurry and get out and go to my room and I can't find my phone. I start to panic and look everywhere. I can't find it.

''Looking for this?" I look behind me and I see Jayden with my phone. ''Oh what's this text from Brent about?" She wiggles her eyebrows.

''Jayden stop.'' I push her in my room close the door and lock it.

''Your leaving?'' She asks.

''Jayden please don't tell mom.'' I sigh.

''Why are you leaving?" She looks at me with glazed eyes.

''You don't even like me Jayden.'' I tell her.

''It may seem like that but Jordan I love you.'' That caught my attention. That's the first time she has told me that.

''Jayden, you cannot tell mom, promise me!" I whisper yell.

''Jordan I don't want you gone. I want a big sister again.'' She says.

''Jayden it do- wait again?" I ask.

She looks up big eyed. ''Let's pretend this never happened and I promise I will never tell mom a thing bye.'' She tries to leave but I grab her.

''What do you mean again?" I ask more sternly.

''If I tell you, you cannot be mad or tell mom at all.'' She says sitting down.

''Let's make a deal, you tell me and I won't tell mom, I leave and you don't tell mom?" I try to make a deal.

''Deal.'' She sighs.

''Spill.'' I state.

''Well you know how you where given up for adoption?'' I nod. ''Jessie wasn't.'' She says.

''Wait Jessie?" I ask.

''Jorden you had a twin and mom and dad kept Jessie.'' After she says that I feel the tears form in my eyes.

''Keep going.'' I croak.

''Last year Jessie died in the pool, she drowned.'' Jayden sighs and a tear leaves her eye.

I feel like hitting something. I wanna kill my mom and dad. No I wana kill Mona and Mason. I hate them, they are not my parents. I just wanna drown them.

''Get out.'' I say.

''But Jordan please don't leave I can't loose another sister.'' She pleads.

''Leave!" I yell at her.

She jumps and runs out of my room. I scream really loud in my pillow and just cry, I finally fall asleep like that, ignoring dinner and everyone. I hate life.
