Around 10 minutes later, Joe brings out our burritos and a waitress brings our coffees over.
"Enjoy." Joe smile and wanders back into the kitchen.
"Tuck in. You won't be disappointed."
I watch as she takes a small bite of her burrito and closes her eyes in appreciation, "Thats amazing." She agrees after she has swallowed the part she was eating.
"What did I tell you?"
She places the burrito down on her plate and takes a sip of her coffee, "Great coffee too, you definitely weren't wrong." She admits.
We finish our breakfast, say goodbye to Joe and climb back into my car ready for the next destination.
"I thought we could catch a movie but at a usual movie theatre." I tell her, pulling into an old-fashioned drive through not far from Joe's restaurant.
"Wow, this is cute." Rachel says looking around as I park into one of the bays. "I never knew this was here."
"I will grab us some snacks." I say to her as she takes off her seatbelts and folds her luscious legs crossed underneath her to get comfortable in the car.
I return five minutes later carrying a tray of popcorn and two cokes."Thanks." She smiles and it's the most amazing smile.
She really is stunning.
"So, what are we watching?"
"Grease."
"How cliche." She laughs. "But one of my favourites."
"Mine too." I admit.
"Really? Bad ass player Jack loves a musical?"
"Hey, did you know how much I wanted to be Danny Zuko growing up and have my own leather jacket?" I tell her, cringing inside with the information I have just shared.
Rachel bursts out laughing but quickly composed herself, "I bet you look hot in leather." She winks
"I look hot in anything."
"Massive ego."
"That's not the only thing that's massive babe as you know."
"Stop!" She giggles, before grabbing some popcorn and turning her head to the screen.
I steal glances at Rachel every now and again while we are watching the film and smile to myself seeing the smile on her face.
I do like this woman. More than I care to admit. Am I ready to open up my heart again? Even though I fear it being broken again?
When the film is finished, I decide to take her to the last place of the day before I drop her back off at home so that she can pick her daughter up.
We pull up on the cliff top and she frowns slightly.
"What are we doing here again? It isn't night time. Even though the view is still incredibly beautiful." Rachel looks out, before turning to me.
I turn to her and take her hand into mine gently, "I've bought you here because it's where we had our first date three days ago and it's special to me. I wasn't going to do this today, but I just feel like I have to." I start.
"Ok..."
"Rach, would you like to be my girlfriend?" I ask nervously.
I've never been nervous in my life, except for my wedding to Chloe, nothing ever phases me. But looking into Rachel's beautiful, green eyes now, wondering if she will reject me; I've never been more nervous.
