"Nice to see you again, Jack." Cheryl greets me.

Be nice, Jack, be nice.

"You too, Cheryl." I smile sweetly.

"Looking handsome as usual."

I grit my teeth as I smile again, "So, about my behaviour..." I start.

"Ah yes. You haven't been very gentlemanly, have you? The lovely Rachel wouldn't be very happy. How is she?" She smirks.

I know you fucking have her, bitch!

"She's..." I start to answer. You're going to have to lie, Jack. "... absolutely fine. At home baking." I lie through my teeth.

Cheryl raises an eyebrow, "Is that right?"

"Yes." I mutter. "Anyway, I'm sorry for how I've been speaking to you recently. It's not fair to you."

"Damn right..." Cheryl purrs before running her hand down my arm, making me feel nauseous. "We need to be friends."

"I agree."

A loud car horn sounds out and Cheryl spins around to look at the Audi. She nods her head curtly before turning back around to me, "I have to go, Jack, but we should meet up soon. Tell Rachel I said hi." She laughs, before turning around again and walking quickly to the car and climbing in.

Fuck!

I head back to my car quickly and allow them to pull out before I slowly start to follow them. I have be careful, I can't let them see me.

I follow them for around twenty minutes until they pull into the car park of a small abandoned factory. I hang back behind a wall so that they don't see my car.

I watch as Cheryl and a stocky man, I don't recognise, get out of the car and head inside. I open my car door and get out, feeling for the hun in my pocket. I shut the car door quietly and creep up to the building.

I stand by the door and get my phone out of my pocket, quickly texting Jed with the location of where I am.
He replies back just as fast telling me to wait and not do anything stupid.
I scoff and put my phone back into my pocket, pulling my gun out instead.

I open the factory door and squeeze instead quietly. I can hear voices coming from the next room so I edge towards the door.

"So, what how Cheryl? Huh? They clearly aren't going to give us the money." The man speaks and I recognise his voice from the phone call.

"I don't know!"

"We can't keep her locked up here forever." The man replies.

"Just shut up and let me think! Let's just go and tell her that her precious Jack won't cough up for her return."

I hear footsteps moving away from the door and going through another door so I quietly sneak into the room that they have just vacated. There's takeaway cartons and tubs strewn everywhere. I also spot a dirty mattress on the floor in the corner of the room.
I'm guessing the man has been staying here as Cheryl certainly wouldn't.

I swear to god if this disgusting man has laid a finger on Rachel, he won't be breathing soon.

I need to be careful following them and I also know that Jed and a team of police wouldn't be too far away either.
