Chapter 21

After your group hug, the three of you had returned to your show. Jimin and Yoongi both keeping a close eye on you. 

They know how much you are struggling and trying to hide how you're really feeling. They want nothing more than to help you be ok again.

The door opens and you all turn towards it. 

You stand and run straight into your brothers arms. "Idiot! Why would you take off like that?" 

"No one messes with my sister." 

"They were just being rambunctious jerks. They didn't target me personally, Kookie."

Jungkook nods. "I know. But they could have been more considerate in a restaurant. Plus the owner told me he was losing customers because of them. It wasn't the first time they did that. Don't worry about it. Next time you go there, I'll be sure to go with you."

You nod and pull away from the hug. "I'd really love that. But what did you do to them?" 

"We just escorted them out of the restaurant. The owner was having a hard time so we just acted like security and told them to leave. We watched them all leave before coming back."

You look at Taehyung who smiles at you. 

"Mhmm. Sure that's all you two did. I'll believe it for now." 

They nod. 

"Your food's in there Tae." 

"Thanks. But are you ok?" 

You nod. "I am now." 

They both smile at you. Jungkook returns to the living room with you while Taehyung eats.

Eventually Taehyung joins you all and watches TV until it gets late. 

"You two can head to Namjoon's now. Jimin and I will stay here with her." 

Jungkook nods. "You sure?" 

"Yeah we got this handled. Namjoon is expecting you Kook, you should really head out." 

The four look at each other and you can tell something is going on.

Taehyung sees the look on your face and knows exactly what it means. "Jungkook, we should head out." 

"You're all hiding something." 

They look at you and shake their heads. 

"Are not." 

"Are too. I can see it on your faces. Is it about the case?"

Jungkook sighs. "You're so my sister. We don't know yet. Tae and I want to go look into it before we said anything to you." 

"Did one of them slip up?" 

"No. We still don't know where they are. We think we know someone who might but so far it looks like a dead end."

You nod. "Well make sure to tell me when you find out." 

"We will." Jungkook hugs you tightly. "Get as much rest as you can. We will be back either later tonight or tomorrow. I love ya." 

You smile and hug him back. "I love ya too." 

He pulls away and you hug Taehyung before the two of them leave.

You sit back down with Jimin and Yoongi to watch the rest of your show. 

Yoongi can't help but to think of something Jungkook said earlier though. He looks at Jimin and you. "I know you two use to be in love but did you guys ever act upon it?"
