Chapter 28

You instantly feel your heart stop and your stomach drop. 

Why? 

Why are they here? 

Why now? 

Your breath catches in your throat but you stand your ground. You have to be strong and ready to fight.

Yoongi quickly looks at you while Jimin and Taehyung prepare for the off chance that the men are here to fight or to try and take you back. 

"Y/n, go hide in your room. Lock the windows and the doors. Don't come out unless we tell you it is safe to. We won't-"

"No! I'm not hiding. Not cowering away. Especially when you three are out here and there's a chance they'll attack. I'll play dumb. Maybe they're just here to check and see if I really lost my memories. See if the rumors are true. Ya know?"

"But what if that's not why? What if they realized this entire time you were faking it? They could be here to take you or kill you so that you won't say anything. Silence you!" 

"I won't let them. Let them say what they need. Play along with me acting dumb. If they attack. We fight."

The three men stand there, looking at you worried. When they can tell you won't budge, they sigh and nod. 

You all then prepare for the worst before opening the door. 

"Hi. Can I help you?" 

The tall man in the front smiles. "You must be Jimin. What a pleasure to meet you."

Jimin cocks his head to the side and stares at the man in confusion. "I'm sorry, should I know who you are?" 

"No! No! How rude of me. My name is Kija. I work for a very powerful man who has just asked me to check up on a few things."

Jimin shakes his head. "I'm afraid there must be some confusion. There is nothing here that needs checking up on." 

Jimin is about to shut the door when the man slightly chuckles. 

"What about young Y/n? Is she home by chance?"

Jimin stares at the man coldly. "She's unavailable." 

"Is it true she was in a terrible accident and now struggles with day to day-" 

"You know nothing about what she goes through everyday, so please keep your opinions to yourself."

The man named Kija nods. "Forgive me for intruding. I just hope she is doing well?" 

"She's doing the best she can. If that is all, please leave." 

"I do have one more thing. Where is the boy that you so rudely kidnapped from the restaurant?"

Bingo!

Just as you all hoped. Someone would come for him, but you were hoping for it to be Mr. Chang himself. 

You can't be seen from where you are standing, so you quietly take your phone out and send Chanyeol an SOS message to get Jungkook ASAP.

Jimin is now playing dump while Taehyung stands behind him with a very confused look on his face. 

"What boy?" 

Kija laughs. "Oh, you know. The one that little Jungkook took from the restaurant for causing a minor disturbance."

Pft. Minor disturbance, my ass. 

"I'm afraid I have no clue what you're talking about." 

"Listen kid. I will ask one more time. After that, I won't be mister nice guy anymore."
