I'll Protect You Book 2 (Min Yoongi x Reader) - COMPLETE

Chapter 6

It's Friday and none of your vitals have changed. You haven't even flinched. 

Everyone has gathered to say their goodbyes. Everyone from the company, the club and your friends are there for your final moments.

After everyone got to say their wishes and goodbyes they returned to the waiting room. Left in your room is BTS, your father and Jieun. 

Jimin, Taehyung, Mr. Jeon and Hoseok are on your left side. Yoongi, Jungkook, Jieun, Namjoon and Seokjin are on the right side.

The nurse walks in with the doctor and sighs. "We will make her as comfortable as we can. When we take the vent out, it could take some time or happen fast. Once the machine signals her vitals are low, we will turn the machines off. Her heart will then stop."

Everyone is crying and looking at you or the ground. 

"If you wish to say anything now is the time." 

"No. We made our peace. Please, just make her suffering end." 

The doctor nods and turns to the nurse. The two then start to unplug stuff and turn things off.

The doctor takes the vent out then looks at the others. "It could take time, just remember that. Sometimes they don't go right away. If you need anything, we will be over there." 

They all nod. "Thank you." 

The doctor and nurse walk to the corner of the room and wait.

Everyone is holding your hands, your arms or resting their hands on your legs. 

Yoongi looks at your face and the tears won't stop. "I love you Y/n. Now and forever." 

Jungkook looks at Yoongi then you. "We all love you. Some more than others but we do and we are here for you."

Mr. Jeon nods. "My sweet baby. It's ok to go. We love you and will be right here with you. You aren't alone." 

The tears and sobs grow louder. The door is shut so everyone can have their privacy with you.

The nurse looks at you then to the doctor. "Sir-" 

"I know. I see it too. Give them another minute." 

She looks back at you. "Yes sir." 

The two keep an eye on your vitals.

The nurse looks at everyone around you then back to you again. "Sir-"

The doctor moves forwards and the nurse follows. "Excuse me." 

Everyone looks at him, waiting for him or the nurse to say the words but it doesn't come. "Get me a head CT and MRI's. A blood panel. All of it. Get me all of it. This is impossible."

Yoongi looks at the doctor, speaking before anyone else can. "What's happening?" 

The doctor looks at everyone then Yoongi. "When we took her vent out we thought she'd stop breathing and her heart would stop. That's not the case. She's breathing on her own."

Jimin looks at you. "Does that mean she's ok?" 

"It means that her lungs at some point were strong enough to start breathing on their own. We didn't notice it. It means she was healing. When she got here she couldn't breathe by herself. This is a good sign."

Everyone lets a breath of relief out. 

A group of nurses enter the room and take you away to run tests.
