Chapter 24

After finishing your meeting, you and Chanyeol left while the others prepared more for their meeting with VIXX. You and Chanyeol go to the meeting spot and get into position before anyone can show up.

You sit on the roof with Chanyeol and sigh. "Why couldn't it be warmer out?" 

Chanyeol laughs. "They weren't kidding, you do complain about the cold a lot." 

"It should be Spring all the time." 

"Oh come on, you know you like the weather now." 

"Pft. Yeah ok. Sure."

Chanyeol chuckles a bit. You smile at him and the two of you continue talking.

You stop talking and look at Chanyeol, confused. "I thought the meeting wasn't until 1?" 

"It's not. Why?" 

"Well it's only 12:30 and there's a car that just pulled up. This place is abandoned right?"

Chanyeol looks to your side of the building and sighs. "It is. We did that intentionally. No one should be here yet." 

You sigh and text Namjoon while watching the car more. You spot two guys get out and run towards the building you are currently on.

"Uh. Chanyeol?" 

"We gotta get inside and hide somewhere." 

"Yep. Turn your ringer off and anything else that makes noise." 

He nods and you both turn your stuff on silent before retreating inside. You both find a spot to take cover in while updating the others.

The two of you watch as the men run to the roof. Once the roof hatch is closed you look at Chanyeol. "No way we are getting the trackers on the car now." 

"You're right." 

"What if this means their club is heavily guarded too? How do we set up surveillance then?"

Chanyeol shakes his head. "Sehun is leaving with Kai now. They're going to move my car further away. I know it's a block over but we can't risk anyone seeing it now." 

You nod. "Smart. The question is what do we do now?" 

Chanyeol looks at you and shakes his head.

The two of you sit there thinking, unable to figure something out. You look around and notice a room in the corner. "Come on. We can hide in there for now. Maybe there's a window we can use." 

"True. Stay down." 

You nod and follow him to the room. You both get inside and you slowly close the door before locking it. 

"At least it locks. Gives us a few extra minutes if they found out we're here." 

Chanyeol nods. "Smart. You were right too. There's a small window in here."

You crawl over to the window and sit next to it. "Stay out of the windows view. Try and keep an ear or eye out for the two guys on the roof. I'm small enough to hide here and try to keep an eye out the window without being seen." 

Chanyeol nods and sits by the door.

You look out the corner of the window, carefully so that you aren't seen. 

You stay like that until you see a group of cars pull up. "The boys are here. VIXX isn't yet." 

"ok. I don't hear anything out there." 

"Think they had the same idea as us?" 

"Probably."

"If we see them mess with the boys car, we'll have to warn them. I have an idea if that happens though. But let's just wait and see what they do."
