Chapter 23

"3... 2... 1... GO!" 

You take off running. You jump and duck through the course. You don't let anything or anyone stop you. You push through. 

The others watch you, shaking their heads. 

"Guess she really is back." 

"We set something up for her though at the end. We need to test her."

Hoseok looks at Jungkook. "What did you do?" 

"You'll see. Just be ready in case it goes sideways." 

"Jungkook-" 

"Don't worry Yoongi. If she's going to be in the field, she needs to be ready." 

The others look at Jungkook then Jimin and Taehyung before looking at you again.

You cross the finish line and place your hands on your knees as you catch your breath. "WELL!?"

 "YOU GOT LUCKY WITH THAT ONE! YOU BEAT YOUR OLD TIME BY 5 SECONDS! NOW COME HERE AND DRINK SOME WATER!"

You smile widely at the news and rush to the boys. 

Every time you smile the boys find themselves smiling too. They'll do anything to keep that smile on your face. Never letting it fade again. 

You sit and drink some water before the next course.

Jungkook smiles. "You know what time it is now. We'll start with Tae then Jimin then you and me." 

You smirk. "I can't wait to kick all your asses." 

They scoff at you. 

You stand and Taehyung stands in front of you. 

Jungkook yells go and the two of you start fighting.

In the end you beat Taehyung. 

He stares at you wide eyed as you hover over him with an arm in one hand and a knife in the other pressed to his throat. "YAH! YOU'VE GOTTEN BETTER! I AM THE BEST TEACHER AROUND!"

You chuckle before getting up and helping him up. "I'm just a good listener." 

He smiles and pats your head before sitting down in his chair. 

Jimin stands and shakes his head at you. "I know you won't beat me here. You never have before." 

"We'll see."

You get into position and wait for Jungkook to yell go again. Sure enough when he does you don't hesitate. 

Jimin sees an opening and takes it. 

You kneel down and look at the white powder on your shirt. "DAMN IT JIMIN! I really liked this shirt." You sigh before turning and firing back again.

You both freeze and stare at each other a few minutes later. 

"Kookie?" 

"Why did you both stop?" 

"I'm out." 

"Me too." 

"Wow. You both suck at this." 

"YAH!" 

"I'M STILL BETTER THAN YOU AT IT!"

"But apparently not better than her. Out of the shots you both managed to actually hit. You only hit her twice. She hit you three times." 

"YAH SHE BEAT ME BY ONE SHOT!? ONE SHOT!?"
