Chapter XVII: Far too long

*Y/N's POV*

Mia: "Home.... finally.." Me and Mia were standing in front of the main doors to now our manor, I looked into the sky, which was cloudy.

You: "Yes. we are home Mia.. let's go..." I should prepare myself for Alissa's hug... this one will be powerful.

I came closer to the doors and opened them, when I did I saw all the maids rushing from kitchen and back there... with food and other stuff...

Mia: "Wonder what's going on here?"

You: "You're not the only one Mia."

???: "DAAAAAAD!!!!" A force made me fall on the ground, I was expecting it but it still pushed the air out of my lungs...

I tried to regain the air but it was difficult, because the white cat faunus squeezed my body the most she could.

Mia: "Mr. L/N are you okay?" I showed her a thumbs up... my t-shirt became wet as a result of Alissa crying.

Pyrrha: "Welcome back dear."

I looked at her and smiled, Pyrrha looked as beautiful as ever, even more this time.

I placed my hand around still crying Alissa...

You: "Air..." Her cat ears twitched as she sat up, her ember eyes covered in tears as she broke down into more of them.

I stood up and hugged her, at this point everyone was looking at us.

Alissa: "I-I was-" I silenced her and hugged her more.

You: "It's okay Alissa, I'm here safe now... and I promise that I will never leave you again okay? Not like this..."

She just kept crying as my wife came to us...

Pyrrha: "She was really scared, since I got home all she did was ask where you are..."

You: "Oh really?" I patted Alissa's ears as she calmed down a bit but not too much. "I'm sorry I scared you Alissa but I'm here now okay?" I wiped her tears away as she smiled at me. It was a weak smile but still a smile.

Mia: "What's going on here?"

Pyrrha: "I told Shane to prepare a huge feast because I had a feeling you would return today."

Mia: "Oh.."

???: "What the heck is going on here!!!" We looked behind and saw Blaze looking really tired... that changed when he saw Alissa in tears.

Blaze: "Alissa? What's wrong?" He was fast when he approached her and knelt beside her. "Who hurt you Alissa!"

Mia: "Did he seriously ignore us?"

Alissa: "I'm just... just glad that... dad is back... is all..." She burried her head into his chest... Blaze looked around until his eyes landed on me.

Blaze: "Mr. L/N you're back!"

You: "Sure am... Alissa...." She looked at me. "I'm sorry for being gone for so long."

Alissa: "It's okay..." She let go of Blaze and hugged me again.... "I'm just happy you're back..."

I hugged her back even lifting her a little...

Pyrrha: "You should go to sleep Blaze... you worked hard on the room after all..."

Blaze: "I will do that yes."

Pyrrha: "And you Mia... how about we leave them and go help the maids in the kitchen."

Mia: "Of course." So they left to do their things respectively while me and Alissa just stayed in the room hugging.
